What did YOU eat today?

Recommended Posts

I've been avoiding this thread like the plague. I'm losing weight slowly but I really don't know why. Maybe it's that I don't have much time to eat and I'm doing a lot of work with moving my husband and getting his wheelchair in and out of the car and set up. Anyway, thought if I posted what I ate yesterday it might shame me into getting back on track. It's just so very hard when I've been so busy to take the time to cook. It's so easy to reach for take out or fast food.

Yesterday

b - coffee with coffee-mate Creamer

half a blueberry sour cream muffin

l - half a plate from Afgan restaurant's buffet

pomegranate juice

d- 3 BBQ ribs, blueberry brown sugar pancake with orange sour cream

s - cup cheese puffs, 1 oz dark chocolate

Yesterday:

B-oatmeal with brown sugar and ff half-n-half.

L-Black Bean and salsa chicken with rice, cheddar cheese, Tomato and avocado.

D-Homemade vegetable Soup with 1 slice homemade w.w. bread.< /p>

This doesn't include my afternoon snacking that I know I need to cut back on. I must do better on that. I think that's why my weight is stalled because I'm grazing all afternoon.

Today so far:

B-2% cottage cheese

To finish off my day:

Lunch: Same as yesterday's dinner, Soup with w.w. bread.

Dinner: Homemade chicken Pot Pie with w.w. biscuit on top.

Snacks: not too bad today. I had a couple small handfuls of cinnamon almonds (the sugary kind) and about 1.5 oz of dark chocolate, oh and some little conversation hearts. Unfortunately this is an improvement.

Yesterday

B: 1/4c cottage cheese

L: 1/4c chicken salad; apple (well, most of it)

D: most of a small chicken breast with pineapple salsa

S: 1/4c soy nuts; ff pudding

Started (or rather re-started) measuring things EXACTLY. It is amazing how over time the measures start to become 'rounded' then 'heaping'....

Honest, this last fill really seems to be doing the trick...I'm not PBing, I can eat things, but I just don't have the same hunger.

That sounds really great... I love black bean. I tend to more use it for my asian dishes though.

Me? Well same old same. liquids during the day and a good dinner. Last night I had a tuna fish sandwhich on wheat with FF cheese and a little Soup. Ooops yeah I had some chips and popcorn too. Grrr... Not a perfect day but heck, I'm not perfect.

Yesterday...not a great day in that I didn't eat at regular intervals, but i don't think I went over in the calories. Weekends are just difficult for me.....

Woke up and forgot to eat until about noon...had some cheese and a few tbsp of Peanut Butter. Licked the spatula from my baking (oops:blushing:) a few times, but then ate a proper bandster dinner - few ounces chicken, 1/4c carrot coins, few tablespoons of rice.

Didn't feel hungry -- must have been the lickin's...

OMG I was so bad this weekend. Shame on me! I need a fill, and I'll get one on the 20th of this month. It's so embarrassing how much I can eat even. Well, truth is I can only eat half what I used to. I really don't like being super tight either, so just a little pop will be nice.

Best wishes to all!

So today I'm doing all liquids until dinner, in which case I'll have one BBQ rib, one scoop of Mac & cheese and a healthy serving of veggies for dinner. Yum!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
