You know, as much as I don't like Ron, I would have voted off Nicole in a heartbeat. It's a game and a competetion. Does anyone really think Ron's going to win it?

And the blue cousins are MORONS. Big F'ING BABIES. They let their emotions run them and that's not good. They're worse than a typical hysterical woman. They're like banshees that don't SHUT UP. I hate them more and more as each episode airs. They're dumb to try and vote off Ron just because they're mad at him. Get over it, big f'ing babies.

And WHAT ALLIANCE??? It's every man for himself - GARRRGGG. One of the cousins was complaining to Bob about Ron and Mike being there for each other at "any cost" well...what about the cousins? They'll be there to back each other up, so that was really hypocritical IMO.

Kristin...eh...I can take her or leave her.

Tara's my number one, and I didn't like Nicoles saying that you can't trust spastic people like that. I think Tara was just excited to have someone ELSE, someone who wasn't out to get her maliciously, but who would be a competitor. But, Tara is smart and given the chance to boot the 2nd strongest and give herself a clearer heading - sure! Why not?

Mike is my 2nd fav...he's just cute and young and not tainted yet.

All the others can suck it.

I can't stand the WLS bashing (maybe I am just being hypersensitive) It's really up to the person how they want it to work for them.

I'm with you on that one...WTF??? WLS didn't work for Ron because HE didn't work it...

I agree, tonight's latest attack on WLS drove me a little nuts.

They don't miss a chance to bash WLS, and I just hate that their drivel may stop someone from looking into a procedure that might save their life...

I'm so mad about what happened this week! Ron should have went home, and he got SO MAD when Felipe voted for him! Come on, you have knee problems, now more health problems, and you STILL think you have a chance?

Ron is the antithesis of everything BL stands for...he really should not have been accepted onto the show. He whines about his workouts, schemes against everyone else, and I believe he'd sabotage someone else to save his son.

I feel really bad for Nicole, it's so bizarre that she gained so much weight her first week back. I missed the part where Alison took away her immunity, can someone tell me why? Was it because she gained weight instead of lost?

I felt horrible for Nicole - the stress of everyone knawing at her just got to her...I'd have told them all to go to Hades in a handbasket!

I did feel for Tara though, someone just comes back onto the ranch in 2nd place after she's worked so hard defending herself and staying in 1st.

Gotta agree / disagree on that one...did Tara REALLY think she was the ONLY rock star in the crew? Puh-lease! She was so threatened by Nicole's return that there's no way she wouldn't have voted her off. Yeah, she whined about having the target on her back, but she loves being in the spotlight.

No real surprise here. Once Nicole lost immunity, there really wasn't any questions about who was going home. It simply had to be the 'new' person on campus who was already showing some hint of abs. Tara may have dodged a bullet there, but now she knows there's some serious competition outside the house.

If that doesn't get her butt in gear, I don't know what will...my money is on Nicole to have made the most progress - it's just too bad she won't have a chance to be the BL for the show since she was kicked off again...

I think the 'doctor' on TBL is the worst kind of whore. He's obviously willing to say whatever the producers want him to say. I agree with previous posters about the WLS bashing; to blame Ron's current medical problems on that procedure is ridiculous.

Can I get an Amen! That doctor wouldn't be able to give me directions, much less advice on my medical condition...

As an aside, I feel sorry for the other members of the South Lyon, MI city council that have to work with this guy on a regular basis. He is a hostile, manipulative bastage that probably has wet dreams about being Tony Soprano.

You have an uncanny clarity about him...he is definately hostile and manipulative. I see him as a bit of a Svengali - he will control his children's lives as well until they rebel and tell him to go jump off a bridge...:seeya:

I felt really bad for Nicole - she was dropped into a snake pit with no clue as to what she was getting into. She did an awesome job at home, and none of the remaining contestants were honest about their motives with her.

Poor baby - she just wasn't the game-player, and she wasn't ready for the vipers. She's made awesome progress, and my DH, DD and I all want her abs - even with pounds to go, she was looking really good! :seeya:

how did the rest of the contestants who came back look?

Well, first off I'm not sure how they decided who would come back, but it was the older woman from the husband/wife team (the one where the husband had to have medical treatment like the first week). She and Nicole looked really good! The third person was David of David and Daniel. Erm... they did side-by-side shots of then and now and I swear I saw NO difference. He is only down about 47 pounds.

Ohh, decided to go look: "David has lost 48 pounds and hopes to “shock America” at the finale."

Biggest Loser Season 7 Episode 4 Recap

SO... he's actually UP a pound since he left the ranch. Guess we won't be too shocked, except at how badly he did...

Ah, you're probably right! That makes sense. I was only half-listening when they did that part.

Hmmm so did mine... maybe the BL gods knew I'd be angry so they spared me the torture.. haha!

I'll be sure my DVR records next week though.

Whenever I see him, my lip starts to curl up, my eyes start to squint, my hands turn into fists, my teeth clench... you get the picture.

Kristin...eh...I can take her or leave her.

Oh Glouc, we've got to have a talk... she's as equally disgusting as Bastard Dad in her own way. She just doesn't have his incomprehensible ability to manipulate others.

:smile2: lol...

True, true she can't manipulate like Ron, therefore she's no real threat to the real star on the show (Tara).

If Ron can get everyone eliminated except for his son, I'd be okay with that. I like Mike, too.

I'd rather see the blue whiny baby cousins (even though Sione is soooo good looking) go home before Ron. I hate whiny temper tantrums more than I hate manipulativeness. At least one takes brains. :)

So your prefer men who are whiney, holds others responsible for their own actions or lack thereof and overall just makes an ass of himself on national TV?

it's still a television show, no need to take it so seriously.

But it's not a sitcom.

You feel Sinone is a great guy, and Donna and I and a few others think he's a whiny, sniveling crybaby. We're all entitled to our opinions, no? :smile2:

Four days post surgery. I am sipping as fast as I can and getting NO WHERE near the goal of 60 - 80 grams of protein or the 64 oz of liquids. I just feel FULL. I don't know if it can still be the gas build up (I would think by now that would be gone) but it is a struggle to drink. And so far I have not had the nausea or spasms and don't want to wander into that territory by pushing too hard with liquids. I about passed out today as it was my most "strenuous" day. Went from second story to basement for shower and I was sure I was going to pass out. Looking back on my last few days I have had a total of less than 1000 calories. Am I just not getting enough nourishment in me? Once again a friday where I can't get ahold of the doc until Monday rolls back around so I am hoping maybe someone here has some experience on how to keep energy going. I do have fibromyalgia too and that may be where some added fatigue comes into play. How did you all fair with the goals the week after surgery?

2 days until I fly out to San Diego to have my Bypass Surg. in Tiajuana Mexico. Not gonna lie, the nerves are starting to surface. I don't fear the surgery itself, or the fact that I'm traveling alone, but its the aftermath that I'm stressing about the most, after this 8 week wait. I'm excited to finally be here, but I am really dreading the post surgical chapter. I know its going to be tough, real tough and I think I'm just in my head to much now that the day i here. Wish me luck, Hopefully I'm one of the lucky ones, and everything goes smoothly. Cant wait to give an exciting update,. If there is anyone else have a June bypass or even a recent one, Id love to have someone to compare war stories with. Also, anyone near San Antonio Tx? See ya soon with the future me. 💜

I am new here today... and only two weeks out from my sleeve surgery on the 23rd. I am amazed I have kept my calories down to 467 today so far... that leaves me almost 750 left for dinner and maybe a snack. This is going to be tough for two weeks... but I have to believe I can do it!

Hey everyone. I'm new here so I thought I should introduce myself. I am 53y/o and am scheduled for Gastric Bypass on June 25th, 2025. I'm located in San Antonio, Texas. I will be having my surgery in Tiajuana Mexico. I've wanted this for years, but I always had insurance where bariatric procedures were excluded. Finally I am able to afford to pay out of pocket.  I can't wait to get started, and I hope I'm prepared for the initial period of "hell". I know what I have signed up for, but I'm sure the good to come will out way the temporary period of discomfort and feelings of regret. I'd love to find people to talk to who have been through the same procedure or experience before. So I look forward to meeting you all. Hope you have a great week!

I'm so happy for you! You are about to change your life. I was so glad to get the sleeve done in Dec. I didn't have feelings of regret overall. And I'm down almost 60 lbs. I do feel a little sad at restaurants. I can barely eat half a kid's meal. I get adults meals often because kid ones don't have the same offerings at times. Then I feel obligated to eat on that until it's gone and that can be days. So the restaurant thing isn't great for me. All the rest is fine by me! I love feeling full with very little. I do wish I could drink when eating. And will sip at the end. Just a strong habit to stop. But I'm working on it! You will do fine! Just keep focused on your desire to be different. Not better or worse. But different. I am happy both ways but my low back doesn't like me that heavy. So I listened (also my feet!). LOL! Update us on your journey! I'm not far from you. I'm in Houston. Good luck and I hope it all goes smoothly! Would love to see pics of the town you go to for this. I've never been there. Neat you will be traveling for this! Enjoy the journey. Take it one day at a time. Sometimes a few hours at a time. Follow all recommendations as best you can. 💗

Thank you so much for your well wishes. I am hoping that everything goes easy for me as well. We don't eat out much as it is, so it wont be too bad in that department. Thankfully. Also, I hear you regarding your back and feet!! I'd like to add knees to the list. Killing me as we speak! I'm only 5' so the weight has to go. Too short to carry all this weight. Menopause really did a doosey on me. (😶lol) My daughter also lives in Houston. with her Husband and my 5 grand-littles. I grew up in Beaumont, so I know Houston well, I will be sure to keep in touch and update you on my journey. I may need some advice in the future, or just motivation. Thank You so much for reaching out, I was hoping to connect with someone in the community. I really appreciate it. 💜

On day 4 of the 2 week liquid pre-op diet. Surgery scheduled for June 11th.
Soooo I am coming to a realization
of something and I'm not sure what to do about it. For years the only thing I've enjoyed is eating. We rarely do anything or go anywhere and if we do it always includes food. Family comes over? Big family dinner! Go camping? Food! Take a short ride or trip? Food! Holiday? Food! Go out of town for a Dr appointment? Food! When we go to a new town we don't look for any attractions, we look for restaurants we haven't been to. Heck, I look forward to getting off work because that means it's almost supper time. Now that I'm drinking these pre-op shakes for breakfast, lunch, and supper I have nothing to look forward to.  And once I have surgery on June 11th it'll be more of the same shakes. Even after pureed stage, soft food stage, and finally regular food stage, it's going to be a drastic change for the rest of my life. I'm giving up the one thing that really brings me joy. Eating. How do you cope with that? What do you do to fill that void? Wow. Now I'm sad.

I hope your surgery on Wednesday goes well. You will be able to do all sorts of new things as you find your new normal after surgery. I don't know this from experience yet, but I am seeing a lot of positive things from people who have had it done. Best of luck!
