Hey Everyone!

I hope everyone is doing well and continuing to lose! I had another decent week with 2 lbs lost this week. I am now down to 394 lbs. It feels great and I continue to push forward. I probably won't hit my 15 lbs goal for this month but that's ok. I am still losing weight and that's what matters. That and getting healthier =)

No weight loss for me for the past two weeks. *sigh* My appetite is back with a vengeance. I did finally get my first fill (3 ccs) last week. Not much difference yet. I have another one scheduled for March 12th. Hopefully after another fill or two, I'll have much more control. I'm gunning for at least one pound to report next week!

I've had an intresting week, I had a fill last week and my eating is down to about 1,200 calories a day with plenty of protien to support my weight regiment.

My workouts consist of a 5k run walk (2 miles stright of running). 3 times a week and heavy weight training 3 days a week the 7th day is 30-45 minutes of light cardio.

Problem is I've gained 1 pound:scared2:. The measurements are all heading the right way but I'm considering bumping the calories up to see what happens. I know this is probably muscle gain and many studies say that you gain muscle faster than loose fat but the gain has me a little feaked out.

RANT OVER thanks for reading.

I am slow going, but the direction is down, so that is the point. One more pound and I will be down 40!!!! I was really bummed when I hit my first plateau, but ironically since I have increased my calories and started loosing again- only loosing less- I am happier. People keep asking me how much- when some days or weeks it is none.

I loved it coming of fast in the beginning, but now I am ok with it slow. My body actually hurts from the changes, and I don't have a lot of clothes I didn't wear out on my way up, so there is not a lot on the way down either. It took years to get as big as I am, and if I only loose 5-10 lbs a month, I will be more than happy with that.

I keep jolting my body. This week I ate more calories than I ususally do (wine calories mostly) but now I am ready to go back to my base diet that I like to eat. It throws my system off an makes weight loss easier. Has anyone else done that? The only draw back is you are really hungry the first couple days of the lower calorie week. For example, I ate about 12,000 calories last week, and this week I will have 8000 - 9000 calories.

Everyone seems to be doing great!! Keep up the good work and remember- if you get it a rut, do something different.

Hey ya'll....everyone is doing so good, I was a little disappointed that I had on lost 4 lbs in the 3 weeks between my dr appts but he was happy so I guess my expectations can sometimes be a little high.

I am down 3 lbs this week, had my 3rd fill and have been on mostly liquids since Wed. I did eat an egg for lunch. We'll see how it goes next week after I start eating real food again.

Well, I have only lost a couple of pounds this month so far but I guess we will have these kinds of days. I was hoping for much more, but at least no gain. Please post my sad little results on the spreadsheet. However, I did buy some new jeans and they were 2 sizes smaller, and for the first time in years I bought a shirt that was an XL in the regular women's clothes!!!! Yaaaay, that was such a great feeling, so I guess 28#'s is pretty sweet for now! Thanks for all the encouragement from the december bandsters its great to have people in the same boat!!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...
