Hey old friends! I also regained too much weight. I had the sleeve 3 years ago and never got to goal weight. I did find the sleeve was really working for me while I was pregnant though. Something ab

Tamra - I miss fudgecicles. My dad had a sweet tooth from hell. there were times when ALL we had in the house for weeks was peanut butter, strawberry preserves, wonderbread, pepsi and FUDGECICLES. That is what i was raised on LOL.

Lol yes today is thursday.

Girls im so excited my husband might have a job again soon:D I love him being home dont get me wrong, but i need a break from him lol.. 6 months is LONG ENOUGH.

I had fudgesicles post op.. it was actually one of my addictions lol.. auds too.. I finally got off those darn suckers:D But they were sugar free and fat free thats how i "justified" it lol

The coolest thing happened today...

You know how the Kaiser scale is always wrong? Like my last weight check appt, their scale was 8 lbs higher than mine at home. Today was different. I was higher this morning and kinda bumming (but excited that clothes were starting to fit again). I didn't wear my dress to my appt, I felt silly. But I wore shorts, t-shirt and filp-flops. I was lower at Kaiser than I was at home! Good times.

I also got confirmation that there is a Bariatric Support Group at Elk Grove Kaiser, Monday nights from 7-9. In the second floor conference room. Maria? Pam? Interested?

Evenin lovely ladies...chatty cathys...posting pattys, lolol, I think I have been reading for half an hour, need to take a speed read class to catch up pages!!! LOL Again, laughed, sighed, said uh-huh, oh my, and no she didnt!

BTW, when Candra says sundress...usually is 'Al fresco' hehe

Welcome Chica, and how funny, many of us are 'vertically challenged' and the weight is measured the wrong way! lol

Sounds like next Sat will be a blast! Chica, please join us! Maria, we get to meet you! And Tamra, girl, we also have to meet you, as if we dont, you'll be thin size before we know it! Hehe. Also, PLEASE plan on the Kaiser Point WEst, off of Arden exit, Sacramento, support meeting, the 4th Sat of ea. month...NEXT ONE: AUGUST 22ND, 11:00 - 1:00 PM

We also try to do a lunch afterwards for socializing!

Jes, can make it this time? Miss you! Candi, Chris? Tina, work that band girl, Nicole too. Am here for yas! Good going Pam, camping again! Riley, come back and report! Heather, are you off next week? Well, gonna finish things for tonite..nite!

OH Nicole my daughter is on the computer right now.

I am losing cause I am barely eating. LOL. I don't eat much cause only two to three bites and full. No breakfast to hard and not hungry.

Try to get in two waters before I eat lunch. Doing soup and salads when they work.

But protien is not so great ladies. That is the stuff that gets stuck if I don't go really slow and chew like a cow!! I don't know how Dr. Baggs will feel about my protien intake..........I keep thinking one day I will get up and it will start to go down than I will want the restriction back.

I think I can work this restriction for a couple of months ya know. But I will go it.

If I see a needle I will tell himi WAIT we need to talk first!! LOL. I want him to know where I am at before I get another fill. I think I am good for a couple of months now.

NIcole, Chris when I hear you high fill numbers I want to cringe!!! OMG if I was that high just shoot me cause I would be a walking mess!! LOL. I would not be eating or drinking............Bless you both with those fills!!

OH MY LORD YOU GUYS. I pb'd for the first tonight!!! It was horrible. We were at Steve's Place tonight for girls night and i had a salad. I ate about 5 or 6 croutons and then started to get that horrible feeling in my chest. I could tell it wasn't going away so I went to the bathroom and my best friend and sis came with me. I was spitting in the sink for about 10 minutes trying to get it to pass but it WOULDN'T.

Finally my throat kinda heaved (it was weird because usually when you puke it comes from your stomach but this is in your throat! It surprised me!) and had 3 little pukes into the bathroom sink. It was definitely the croutons!

SO SO SO gross...up until now I've only slimed twice. This SUCKED. It hurt so bad but as soon as it came up I felt fine. I was wishing I hadn't fought it for so long and had just gotten it over with earlier.

Oh well, no more croutons for me! I'm gonna do full liquids tomorrow just to ease myself back into food.

What a bummer, huh?

No fun huh Chris?? I hate it.

Reggie I am gonna try to come next week. I need to make sure I am not on Taxi duty first. But sounds really fun. I can bring something too!!

Tina, I had no idea the heaving part came from the chest/throat and not the stomach...so weird! How many times do you actually heave/pb before everything usually comes up? I think I did it about 3 times in a row. SO yucky. I can't imagine doing that every day or two, that must really be a bummer!

Got my wildtree oils!! Love, love, love them.................can't wait to cook something. I think the garlic and pesto are my favorites!! Nicole tell your friend I got them today............

Did I say I LOVE them!!!

Tamra - I miss fudgecicles. My dad had a sweet tooth from hell. there were times when ALL we had in the house for weeks was peanut butter, strawberry preserves, wonderbread, pepsi and FUDGECICLES. That is what i was raised on LOL.

pbutter and jelly sandwhiches with a pepsi *sigh* the good ol' days LOL

Good morning ladies, on my way to work but had to log on...my scale this morning ****drum roll***** 268.3!!! whoo hooooo!!!! do you realize thats down 16.7 lbs in alittle over a week? LOL keeeeep going scaleeee!! 18.3 lbs left until goal!

MAYBE my lattes are a secret weapon? LOL wishful thinking? :wink2:

Go Tamra, get your weight down, go Tamra, get yo weight down! Good job, as these ladies say, 30 lb no prob. (Great quote!)

By the way, Chris my first PB was on a ... small... peanut butter cracker! It hurt like the dickens, but the learning curve is teaching me. Good to hear from you Chris, but hope the swelling goes away quick!

Just wanted to wish you all a fantastic, fun Friday!

Changed 'productive' to fantastic, hehehe.

Welcome Temp Tubby and LaChica

Stick on this site this is a great support group here!!

Also how do you know your goal weight already. They usually tell you that at your surgeons appointment?

I recommend Dr. Baggs!! Just my preference

I guestimated that too well I want off the chart I'm 5"1 or I wanna say 5ft even so for my height and age I should weigh between 110 - 115..

I have a question about the smoking part. I did quit:thumbup: which is the best move I did BUT I use nicotine patches or gum. Will that interfere with or give a false positive on the nicotine test?
