Got a date paper work submitted....

Recommended Posts

Well ladies this is it my paper work went in Monday!!!

I have started my journey since November 15th 2007 and it is now October 22, 2008. The Doctors Medical Assistant gave me a date of November 14th :wub:can you believe it’s almost year to date from when I started. But I just wanted everyone to keep there fingers and toes crossed because she said I should here back from her on Monday. I gone on so many web sites and read so much that I’m getting nervous if this really happens. :smile2: I really want to post a success story with all my goals that I have accomplished. And my first mini goal is to run on the treadmill for at least 15 minutes straight with someone calling 911,:blushing::sad_smile: (LMAO) because BABY I’m a mess just after 1 minute of running.:crying::scared2: And of course my super goal is the weight, but everything will come in its time. And its funny because when the assistant called me she was like you have stayed the same weight for one year. She said she has never had anyone do that, so in the back of my mind I was like great I should have made some changes in my weight.

.......Have one little conceited and selfish goal..:rolleyes2: 2 years ago I brought a pair of seven jeans from lane Bryant now ladies if you shop in lane Bryant you know how pricy they are. Well I brought these jeans in a size 18:scared2: for $25.00 with all my coupons original price was $90.00 and when I wore them they were skin skin skin tight :ohmy:I only wore them once but I was workin it that night I was told. So my conceited goal is to get back into them and work it out again… LOL:blush::laugh::w00t:

Will keep you all posted....

Later Dawn

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.
