Need a new scale - mine hates me

Recommended Posts

I am in need of a new scale and want some input on which one is the best. I currently have a WW's digital one. And for some reason it weighs differently depending on the time and place. It's driving me a bit insane. I've had it for a few years so I thought before I freak out maybe I should invest in a new one. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Oh, my WW scale did the same to me, and at the end it told me I weighed 18 pounds. I chose to believe it.

I bought a HealthOMeter replacement. The first one just flashed E whenever I got on the scale, despite that it was supposed weigh accurately up to 350 lbs. I got another, and it works fine. I like it much better than the WW one.

I just bought the Biggest Losers scale at Target for about $30.00 it is

digital and it works fine. It also includes a dvd with a workout.

I also have the Biggest Loser scale that came with a DVD. I love it and so far I have had no problems with it!!! It's got a good price and so far worth every penny!!! Good luck in finding a scale

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
