I think we all understand the need to eat junk food. Isn't that what helped get us here in the first place? I was banded in Dec, and just started craving junk food again. Here is a list of replacement foods for me- maybe you could try them instead.

I used to love chips- now I eat Old London's Melba toast (garlic is my favorite), Ritz low fat crackers, and flavored pita chips.

I have a couple treats, Smart Ones chocolate Desserts and 100 cal snack packs. I don't keep more than one box in the house at a time, so I don't eat them every day.

I have a spoon of Peanut Butter when I am craving sweets. I also will have some diet sprite or 7up for a sweet craving- but as someone else said- it keeps the sweet cravings going, so I try to stick to tea (not sweet).

I am having a hard time craving meat with all the Protein I eat- because I eat Protein in a different form. I eat cottage cheese every day, and could not live without it. I eat fat free refried Beans at least 4 times a week. I love weight watchers cheese, especially on steamed veggies. If you try to get in protein- and eat that first- and get "full" on it, there will be less room for your sweets.

I crave food no matter if I am hungry or not. But I will tell you this. I don't eat when I am BUSY- but when I am relaxing at home. I love to relax though- so that is a problem. I am tired all the time- so staying busy and exercising is hard for me.

Well, this is my advice. Now if you are like most people, you will wait until someone tells you what you want to hear and do that, and not try other peoples methods, but I strongly suggest you at least try to change your sweet eating habits. Now that you are banded and not eating as much, you are hurting your health MORE than before, because you body is not getting what it needs. Get a sponsor you can call before you eat something sweet and let them talk you out of it.

As the saying goals, only a fool repeats the same actions thinking they will get a different result...

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
