P.S. i also eat well and because of my bad knee i havent exercised yet

16_15_14.gif Awsome weight loss! Some people loose faster than others. Just don't worry when you slow way down or hit a platue. Change your eating habits. You said you haven't had a fill, so do you have any kind of restriction? You might not need to get a fill. Some Dr.s won't give you a fill if you are loosing to fast. Keep us posted please.

I am guessing you have some restriction even though you have no fill. Also, guys loose weight pretty fast compared to women. As long as you are not having any probs eating and getting all your Protein and nutrients I wouldnt worry. You can always call and talk with the doc/nurse as well.

I lost ~35 lbs within 3 weeks and stopped completely for like 2.5 months and just started dropping again, think my system was just in shock and is now adjusting.

Congrats on your success! I think everyone is so different. I think for myself...I have been Yo-Yo dieting for my whole life that I have slowed my metabolism down so much that I am resistant. I would go from starving myself to binge eating and every diet in between; Atkins, Weight Watchers, cabbage Soup, Metafast, Hollywood, etc. My body is totally confused!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am having the same problem as you, i started out at 387 and now have hit 315. I was banded 7/23. I have had 2 fills so far and seem to slow down the weight loss just a week before my next fill. I have a 10cc band and now have 8cc added as my fills. i have been walking but not too fast because of my knees and hip pain. i think if you are feeling well and your Doctor is not worried you should be ok. My doctor is not at all worried about my weight, in fact he will prob. not give me another fill until the weight slows down. Good luck with you weight loss and may you enjoy your band.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
