I have been at a plateau for a couple of weeks, losing inches but little weight loss.

I am really tring to be good for the holiday's. I have a fill on January 12th and hope to show a good weight loss!

Is there a new challenge set up yet, since this one ends in a couple days?? I made this one by 1 pound, and want to think of my next goal. For sure it is to hit 100 lbs lost (5 more) and then Onderland (15 more).

I didn't make my goal either. I had a bad time over Christmas and gained back some weight. Only 3 pounds, but I am not happy with myself. Oh well, I have all ready lost 1 pound of that gain and am ready to start again. When the next one starts, I am in. Thanks for all the help and support.

You all rock! We all did great, but set ourselves goals that either we weren't able to reach for one reason or another. For me I've not hit good restriction, and I thought by 3 months I would have. Ah well.. on to bigger and better things.

      Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

        As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

        Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

      Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
