How much have you lost July Butterfllies??

I saw a similar thread by the May bandsters. I think the Butterflies should let each other know how much we lose! I know that the month isn't over yet, but those of us that are banded, or are doing preop diets should have somewhere to share our success!!!

I'll start. I have lost 13.5 lbs. since starting the preop diet!!!:thumbup:;)

Please share!!

Dang, Charlene. Did the nutritionist say you weren't supposed to go over 1000? I eat 1200-1500 per day.

That is the plan, but I think she knows I can't stay that low everyday. I still don't have the right restriction. I need maybe a .1 and i will be right. Anyway, I go on the 24th and blow into this machine that will measure my metabolism. It will tell how many calories I should be eating. It also tells alot of other stuff. I am kinda looking forward to doing it.

Let me know how it comes out, either here or the master thread. I hope it tells you that you can eat more.

I am so excited today. I have finally hit ONEDERLAND!!!! This is the first time in over 30 years that I weigh below 200!! I am very emotional today. The journey has been long, but well worth it. 28 more pounds and then some body reconstruction for me. I am so happy!

I have lost 141!!! Nearing my original goal, but will be adjusting that, since this is the lowest I have weighed in over 25 years, I had no idea what being here would be like. The downside? The extra skin. I am beginning to think that the extra skin is causing me to want to adjust my ultimate goal too low, but will see when I get there I suppose.

CONGRATULATIONS to ALL!!!! Keep up the good work. What a gift of unknown proportions getting the band was. Not just in weight loss, but also the other changes that I have gone through as a result. Simply amazing. The band has saved my life in so many ways.

So far I'm down 113 pounds. My ultimate goal is 135. I did get down to 138, but then started blowing off good eating habits and food journaling so I shot back up to 147. I had to get back in control. I question if my ultimate goal weight is too low with my left over skin, but I was 138, so I know for me that's only an excuse. I'm not that flabby.

I food journaled every bite and sip on livestrong.com (it's free) and I say that helped me the MOST. I didn't exercise past always keeping a pedometer on me 24/7 and walking 10,000 steps a day or more. I have some loose skin, but not much at all. I ate 1,200 - 1,500 calories a day. 1,400 being my goal calories for the day. I keep playing around with these last few pounds and I have to kick it into high gear before the end of this year so I can see goal 2009! I really didn't have any real plateaus until now, but now is because I got lazy and had to many "off" days. My own fault. I know food journaling is a pain, but it did the job and on livestrong.com it's easy, FREE and convenient and I'm wearing size 8's because of it !!

WOW! Ya'll are doing great, I'm feeling a little like a slacker but after reading ya'lls post I'm am going to start putting in the energy I should be putting in. Thanks for the encouragement!

Food journaling is a FANTASTIC idea! Thanks for the reminder! I need to get my butt in gear as well. though I know why I've been stalling (too much fun with food and friends!)

But the holidays are right around the corner and it's time to get back on track. Thank you band for making this possible!

Much love to you all. We can do it!

I had a false scale read last week, so I'm actually down 97 instead of 99.

That's still awesome blaze!!!! You are very close to being down 100lbs, which is a HUGE accomplishment!!!

Congrats on the 99 pounds lost. It is amazing to have lost so much. Just the thought of caring around that kind of weight. That is more than 2 large 40 pound bags of dog food. Try caring one and see how out of breath you become. That was my realization of how much I had really lost. I thought how did I do it all those years. It is a wonderful thing to lose that much weight.
