A Rant Against MYSELF!!!

Lil' I have the Same Problem. I was salavating two weeks ago when I went shopping with my mom. My 9's are now too big and I'm moving into 8 1/2 territory. God Bless JC Penney and their 60% of sale! Too many shoes to choose from. I also went crazy in the dress section. I used to own ONE dress. I hated them on me. I was like a lady possessed. Every one I tried on I actually liked - go figure! Then I had to have shoes to match...I bought the cutest black and white dress with a red ribbon tie at the waist. You KNOW you have to have a pair of red shoes with it! Love 'Em...bought a baby doll pair patent leather - It's so wrong, but I love it! Go Shoes! You have to keep me out of TJMAX...I now have purse fever too...LOL

heeh Froggi I just bought myself a new purse .. I am addicted to shoes and handbags ... What makes it even funnier, that if you didn't know me or see my shoes or handbags you would think I was the worlds biggest tomboy .... LOL

But I gotta have my shoes and handbags...

It's not a problem till you consider turning the spare bedroom into a dressing room / wardrobe for your shoes and clothes due to the volume of clothes / shoes / handbags / ect. you own.

Then, you have issues.

Not that I would know, or anything (shuffles feet and looks away).

Great idea!! Thanks!

5 pair? Go on with your bad self. It's only money and we need to get our joy where ever we can.

I've cried as I've given away my shoes from when I was heavier...but alas, that just means I need to get new ones!

I've learned some self control when it comes to buying clothing, I buy only what I need now, but when I get to goal, watch out! I want to drop REAL money on clothing...you know the $400 coats, $100 pants, that kind of thing...

Thanks, and it DOES make me so happy! Shopping is my new BFF!

I'm down almost a size. My 8 1/2 are big. I was in a 9. Before I had kids and was at my smallest I wore a 7 1/2 (high school).

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
