I am 2 days post op and every time I eat or drink something my stomach is making all these funny noises? Has anyone experienced this? It doesn't hurt though.

I had that too. I would be at work and it would be embarassing! I had a fill a few weeks ago - I am now at 5cc in a 10cc band and finally feeling some restriction (yeah!). After this last fill, the rumbling pretty much stopped. So give it a little time and it may go away.

Hey, I was banded 7/8 and my stomach started grumbling yesterday (my first day home). I think my body is getting back into the swing of things (going #1 and #2). It did the same thing when I had my galbladder out years ago.

I've been banded almost 3 months and I still occasionally gurgle. Sometimes it's really loud and it never fails to be when I'm around people! LOL. My friends just take it in stride now. It's really fun when it does that sitting in church during prayer time. My new expression: "you could have heard a pin drop or my stomach gurgle"

I am 7 months since surgery and I still get occasional rumbling. My stomach did it a lot at first, probably the first three months. It really is embarassing! But, people understood!

well, my stomach has stopped with the major rumbles. however, 1 month post-op and I could still win some intense burping contests!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
