pixie cuts are cute too, I used to have a pixieish cut real short n spikey in the back and in the front i had longer choppier hair that i could style with barettes n such.

I think you should get the bob would be hella cute on you. :smile2:

Here it is...I love it! I'm so glad I had it cut. She cut of 5 inches - woohoo! I don't know how everyone else views them, but I have to click on...I'll try to figure it out later.

Cute cute cute!! My hair is one thing I wanna change when I start loosing weight. Right now it's down to my bra on my back. Dh HATES short hair on me, so that isn't really an option. I think I'm gonna get it layed and change the color though (I'm sure it won't be long till the gray hair starts showing up anyway).

Okay gals you're gonna hate my advice:

I never NEVER advise anyone to go drastic the first time. I have seen way too many girls burst into tears in the shop and ruin their self image because I or another co worker gave them what they asked/INSISTED on getting.:smile2: If you have reaffirmed time and time again that you like how your face, chin forehead looks emphasized, then I say you are ready for the razor. I usually advise shoulder length, then in a month come back in...it is the shoulder and above that seems to freak people out the most. Getting any over the ear cut is drastic too...I say try a spunky choppy layered cut, try a brilliant red, or sexy chocolate...colors do wonders. I can't imagine my hair being any other shade than red...had it for over 15 years now. The inverted or asymmetrical cuts like the modernized wedge with longer lengths in front are all the rage...you can still keep your length in the front for security.. :Angel_anim:

I will say this...if you go drastic and love it...80% of the time, you never go back long again. It is too damn easy to manage. I am a pixie now...it is fab! I don't care about my face shape...my hubby loves it too. I have the crazy rooster/ducks ass neckline...so it sweeps into the center.

Hey April! I've had short hair before - a lot shorter than it is now. I was ready to go even shorter than she cut it this time. She was the one that was unsure. After I had my first daughter my hair was mid back and I cut it almost pixie and loved it! I kept it that way for a few years and decided two years ago I wanted to grow it out again. I've now decided short is for me. Not that I didn't love my hair long - it just stayed in a ponytail more than I wore it down. I can't stand it to be in my face. I think hair dressers can tell when a client comes in and just doesn't know what they want...that's when you shouldn't cut it. I was so ready! I love it!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
