What PMS meds can/do you take?

Recommended Posts

I am leary about taking PMS meds cause I forgot to ask my surgeon what is ok and what isn't. What do you take? I used to take midol and would like to again but I can't get hold of my doctor. (miltary doc so its not like civ docs that are a bit easier to get hold of) I mean I will be seeing him on the 1st for my fill and will ask then, but in the mean time (like right now) what do you take to make your ToM easier on you? Does it upset you stomach?

*hugs heating pad*

Oh yeah, it may be an urban legend, but my doc told me drink lots of Water and avoid sugar during TOM which increase cramps (I have serious cramping issue). I drink more water, but I don't keep check on sugar.

liquid tylenol seems to work much better for me than its pill counterpart. Also the original version of midol is made with acetomenophine (tylenol) so it should be fine but make sure you read the ingredients as some of it has a naproxen or asprin in it.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
