I've been sooooo moody ever since TOM came on Monday! My DH ask me today what he had done to make me soooo ill, lol. I think it gets worse with age too, at least it has for me. I hate to see how I am in 10 years .

Oh, and this whole week I've felt like crying if I saw something on TV that was the least bit sad! I don't know if you've seen that commercial with Sara McLaughlin with all the hurt and abandoned animals.....yeah, I cried my eyes out. I have several hormonal imbalances and I think it just gets the best of me sometimes. Glad I'm not the only one!

that commercial always makes me cry. I am a huge animal lover and my dog is a rescued animal. I love her to death. I cannot even imagine how people can do that to a helpless animal.

I know, it's soooo sad. Some people are soooo cruel!

Yikes! I can't imagine having more than one a month. DH would probably be asking for a divorce, lol!

Yeah it's horrible. I used to have one monthly at the beginning of each month and then around 5 or so months ago. I just didn't have a period for 3 months.

Then after that I had a 5 week long period.

Then another one another week later that was 2 weeks...

then another one a week later...so on so on

then June 1st I started another one it ended June 8th and then on the 12th I started bleeding again..

I get so weak and tired, this is getting so old. :P

Wow, that sucks! Is there anything your doctor can do or prescribe that might help? It seems like there would be something! I can't imagine! Well, I hope it gets better for you, and soon too!

Well I guess I could always try birth control, I mean I'll have to get put on it after surgery anyway because it's a must for my surgeons office. We have to promise to be on birth control prove it and not get preg within a year after surgery.

I might have to ask next week to see if i can see someone about getting some BC. I so need something.

heh haven't even got a band yet so I fear for my BF when I do. Woke up this morning to my TOM, not happy about that but I guess I should have suspected it since I had a big crying frustration fit last night. I only seem to have those when i'm on or close to my TOM.

And of course afterwards I feel so silly for getting that upset over something. But man I was ready to throw my computer through the patio doors last night just to have the satisfaction of seeing it spread across the parking lot. lol

I had to reformat my computer 25 days ago. BUT since neither of the last 2 computers I have bought in the last 5 years came with recovery CD's at all and the HD that the recovery data ws on died and had to be replaced, I had to use BF's copy of XP to reinstall. Thinking I could still use the CD key off the back of my computer. WRONG.

Microsoft says my # is invalid contact the place you bought the computer. Best buy says your past warrenty no help there. :cursing:

Microsoft wants $99.00 for a stupid CD key!!

My son said upgrade to XP pro corp and he sent me a cd. It still takes a CD key but he got me one from his job, (he does this for a living) But I can't just upgrade XP home to XP pro corp. Windows says theres corrupt files on this brand new never used before CD.

So I guess my only option now is to do a total reformat and pray the so called corrupt files don't continue to be a problem. Then spend the 2-3 days getting everything I use installed back to the system.

And of course all this just had to happen with TOM arriving.

So yea. I know about the moodyness too. No wonder my daughter left for the day.

I've been feeling really moody too... but not because of TOM. I'm just feeling really emotional and dare I say, fragile! :) My husband will say the slightest thing and I'm getting all upset and feeling like he doesn't care about me. *sigh*. I really hate feeling like this.

On day 4 of the 2 week liquid pre-op diet. Surgery scheduled for June 11th.
Soooo I am coming to a realization
of something and I'm not sure what to do about it. For years the only thing I've enjoyed is eating. We rarely do anything or go anywhere and if we do it always includes food. Family comes over? Big family dinner! Go camping? Food! Take a short ride or trip? Food! Holiday? Food! Go out of town for a Dr appointment? Food! When we go to a new town we don't look for any attractions, we look for restaurants we haven't been to. Heck, I look forward to getting off work because that means it's almost supper time. Now that I'm drinking these pre-op shakes for breakfast, lunch, and supper I have nothing to look forward to.  And once I have surgery on June 11th it'll be more of the same shakes. Even after pureed stage, soft food stage, and finally regular food stage, it's going to be a drastic change for the rest of my life. I'm giving up the one thing that really brings me joy. Eating. How do you cope with that? What do you do to fill that void? Wow. Now I'm sad.

Life as a big person had limited my life to what I knew I could manage to do each day. That was eat. I hadn't anything else to look forward to. So my eating choices were the best I could dream up. I planned the cooking in managable lots in my head and filled my day with and around it.

Now I have a whole new big, bigger, biggest, best days ever. I am out there with those skinny people doing stuff i could never have dreamt of. Food is now an after thought. It doesn't consume my day. I still enjoy the good home cooked food but I eat smaller portions. I leave food on my plate when I am full. I can no longer hear my mother's voice saying eat it all up, ther are starving children in Africa who would want that!

I still cook for family feasts, I love cooking. I still do holidays but I have changed from the All inclusive drinking and eating everything everyday kind to Self catering accommodation. This gives me the choice of cooking or eating out as I choose. I rarely drink anymore as I usually travel alone now and I feel I need to keep aware of my surroundings.

I don't know at what point my life expanded, was it when I lost 100 pounds? Was it when I left my walking stick at home ? Was it when I said yes to an outing instead of finding an excuse to stay home ? i look back at my last five years and wonder how loosing weight has made such a difference. Be ready to amaze yourself.

BTW, the liquid diet sucks, one more day and you are over the worst. You can do it.

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!
