I don't know if anyone else has this problem but here goes.

It's my TOM and for some reason whenever I get it I always get hemmoroids and get partly constipated...does anyone else have this problem.

It seems worse this time than in the past TOMs, could it be because I've lost 12 lbs?:confused2:

I don't know I am confused and uncomfortable, and very crampy. :crying:I was just wondering if this happens to a lot of women during TOMs.

Thanks.:)

I have endometreosis (Sp?). I've always had Constipation and BAD cramps - and it seemed to be worse the heavier I was. I'd have LONG periods too and very heavy. Never experience hemroids (thank goodness).

I just had my period (this week) and for once the cramps didn't kill me and I still had the constipation, but it was better. I think the change in my diet makes a difference.

Thanks for the information. I appreciate it. I hope once I continue to lose more things will get better.

I'll have that occasionally but nothing like the Constipation. I think I'd rather have Water like stool than the pain of this LOL

Im the same, i get it for the first two three days then it goes. I also get really bad cramping. It used to be so bad in the past that i couldnt even move, i would just lay in bed for the first two days. But thank God, im not so bad now.

I usually have the opposite problem, major diarrhea.

I manage to get both major diarrhoea and Constipation :). On the day I get it, I always know before it comes because I start the day off with really heavy cramps and diarrhoea. I usually take an entire box of panadeine over the next 48 hours, so by Day 3 I have constipation, lasting until it finishes on Day 6. Such a lot of fun...NOT!!

I voted neither as these are problems all the time (constipation depending on diet) not just TOM

lol well I am not banded yet, so I think i dont get constipated as much as someone who cant eat as much. But i do get really constipated and have painful hemmoroids during TOM

I usually get the oposite problem, But for the last several years up till the last 6months or so have had really soft and often bowels. Now that I have doubled the veggies in my diet and started eliminating carbs the toothpaste consistency and multiple movements a day has gone away. lol But I still get it back durring TOM.

Exceedingly odd...I get diarrhea during my period, but never Constipation. My cramps had leveled off and dwindled before I had my first fibroid tumor complication (it passed spontaneosly) but now they are back.

Seems no matter what I eat before my TOM, I'm always getting diarrhea...makes me dread it. :crying:

My OBGYN told me it was part hormones, part endometriosis.I would be so constipated that I was almost impacted. I had a complete hysterectomy and have never felt better.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
