  1. 1. Would you have your mons lifted?

    • Yes, they are as out of shape as I am.
    • No, that area is forbidden!
    • Maybe...

a lot of guys my age trim it, ive seen a few completely shaved even the balls and its just weird, as for guys my age also...they complain if we aren't completely shaved and smooth. >< I know it's stupid but yeah I also feel kinda gross having a bush but yeah that's just me.

Dr. Diamond seems like a pretty good guy though, I liked the episode where he proposed to his girlfriend and arranged for her Mom and sisters to be there as a surprise as well, I thought that was really sweet :P:smile::party:! They probably have children by now -- huh?

He is quite nice in real life (or at least he was when I knew him). I sat next to him in 8th grade.

It's bad enough women shave most everything to look prepubescent. I find that shaven genital look perverted and discomfitting.

I just had a TT 3 weeks ago. During the surgery, he did some mild Lipo on the pubic mound, and DID lift it and tighten the skin. He said it is not always done, but it gives preferred results.

Several years ago, I had a serious bout with cancer, and my chemo caused me total hair loss----including pubic hair. When my hair grew back, it did somewhat, it is much more sparse than ever before, and the hair line itself is much lower. With that being the case, he said he could lift without the hairline being an issue.

Like I say it has only been 3 weeks, and I have still got some open wound due to a condition called fat necrosis, and then an ensuing infection. So sex in a position that would allow me to judge the difference has not been possible. BUT I know it will be a major change. I had some serious fat pad on the pubic mound before and it is gone. Not to mention my belly hung over it all--and it is gone. What used to take some hunting, and prodding around is all right out in the open now!!!

He said to me something in the nature of---and this might not be an EXACT quote but close "I don't want this to sound un professional, or too personal, but from my patients, I have heard that this part of the surgery is vital. To remove the excess abdominal fat, and leave the mons rounded, causes clothing to fit akwardly, and just is not aesthetic looking. I am also quite frequently thanked for the rejuvination in sensation by patients and husbands alike"

So.....I had no serious complaints before, other than the belly being an embarrassment, and being in the way----it had become much harder to orgasm through intercourse than it used to. Whether that is all weight or something to do with age or what I don't know.....but hope to know soon!!!

Can't speak from experience yet on sensation, but lookwise, oh yeah, it was so worth the little extra during surgery!

Kat - thanks so much for sharing! I know this is a very personal subject and I'm glad to have someone's perspective that has been there. I hope you are healing well. I haven't been to the PS thread in a while. Have you posted any progress pictures of the TT? Everyones that I have seen so far are amazing.

I was watching Jon and Kate + 8 (I'm behind on my T.V. shows) last night. She showed her stomach after having 6 children (at once) and oh my, it reminds me so much of those of us on here with extra skin. I think she ended up with a TT too in later episodes. Of course I haven't seen that episode. Surgery makes me very nervous, but after going through everything I have to lose weight - I'd love to have a "normal" looking body in the end.

I think a doctor did it at no cost. The show last night was Jon getting hair transplants at no cost. They said they would have never been able to afford it on their own.

Of all the areas that I would consider PS for including my breasts, tummy, thighs, arms and derrière my mons hasn't made the list. Maybe I'm in denial, but I feel like it's one body part that still looks decent. LOL

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
