anyone ever used Dr. Westmoreland in Murphressboro for a fill

Recommended Posts

I live in NW Al. I am looking for a Dr close to me that will do a fill. I was banded in Tijuana by Dr. Ortiz and have had 1 fill (1.8cc). All the local Drs. (with in 2 hours drive) are either such jerks  because I didn't use them or they want to overcharge me to the point they should be embarrassed. :tt2:

Has anyone ever used Dr. Westmoreland in Murphressboro, Tn?

thanks for your input

Hello,

I live in Murfreesboro, I was banded by Dr. Eckles, Dr. Westmorelands partner. I have never been filled by Dr. Westmoreland, but I hear he is great. Now , Dr. Eckles is wonderful if you want to consider him. And on a side note, Dr. Eckles has the band himself, so he knows what it feels like to have a fill, restriction etc. I am very pleased with him.

thanks Laura, sorry about the spelling on your city. what can you tell me about your experience? how many fills have you had? when did you know you needed another one? how much were your fills? who did your fills? and did they use a fluroscopy? how did they know how much to fill you if they didn't. what did they charge you for your surgery and your fills?

I have had my fill for 2 weeks today and I haven't lost any more weight, I can till eat what ever and as much as ever if I liked, as long as I eat slow and chew things up really good.

thanks,

reneej

My overall experience with the Murfreesboro Surgical Clinic has been great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I have had 4 fills and one unfill in the past year. I will be going back in a few weeks to get refilled. I can tell I need another fill when I get hungry less than 4 hours between meals and the amount I eat is over one cup. Dr. Eckles did my fills and I have not had any under fluro as of yet. He makes you drink Water as he fills you to see how much you need. My surgery and fills are covered by my insurance. I think my surgery was around $16k, had to have a hernia repaired also. I think fills are around $250 but could be wrong. I would just call their office and talk to them, ask for Angela, she is the best.

Thanks,

Laura

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
