  1. 1. 5 Month Percentage of Total Weight Loss

Here is a new poll suggested by Katiebug - with instructions!

Weight Loss Percentage Formula:

Divide the weight loss by the starting weight and multiply the answer by 100.

Ex: Starting weight = 200, pounds lost = 5

5/200 = .025

.025*100 = 2.5%

Hi all Merry Losers!!!

Well today is my 5 month anniversary. I'm down 51 lbs and doing great. If I did it correctly, I'm 23% down. I had a little unfill a couple of weeks ago and I was afraid I would start eating and gaining...but not the case. I'm eating more but still loosing.

My older son got married Sat nite and all went well. Some people I haven't seen since surgery could not believe the change. I've been getting emails all morning commenting on the wedding and about how good I looked. This is a strange turn of events. I don't know about you, but I'm not used to getting compliments on my looks. My cooking yes!!!! ahahah I'm finally starting to see some difference, especially dressed. ahahah Undressed, I look like the Saggy, Baggy, Elephant.

I'll post pictures as soon as I get some back.

I am only at slightly over 4 months and I am at 20.4%. That is 225 start less 179 current divided by 225 if I did it correctly.

I did not answer the poll yet but will in a couple of weeks once I see where I am at. I feel really good about my weight loss so far :0).

oops! I entered that I had lost almost half of what my total loss will be, and didn't do the correct calculation....I will do the poll again - is there any way I can remove my vote from the incorrect choice? Thanks!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
