You sound a lot like me Gibson. I haven't even gotten a haircut in about a year because I just kept thinking, what's the point. I refused to buy clothes for myself over the last year or so because I just wanted to cry when I had to buy bigger sizes. I told my husband that he better watch out because I'm going to buy myself tons of clothes from now on.

Here's a fun reward I didn't even plan for myself! When I went for my last fill, my surgeon presented me with a nice pin that says I've lost 50 lbs! It was so sweet! I feel like wearing it around work. People will say, "What's that pin there on your shirt?", and I'll be like, "Oh that? That's just my '50 lbs gone forever' pin, because in case you didn't know, I lost 50 lbs. Did I mention that it was 50 lbs I lost?"

(hee hee - this is my fantasy anyway!)

Hmm. I hadn't thought of it, but now that the idea has been planted I shall give it some thought. I too cannot abide the idea of a massage, but a mani and pedi is do-able. New haircut is needed, but I get those anyways so that's not too motivational. Let's see, a new pair of shoes - now, that's an idea! A facial - that's good too. New glasses - practical and a reward.

Keep the ideas coming, please.

I bought myself new underwear last night. I was so excited, it was kind of sad.

I understand your excitement, Jaime! One of my fantasies is to burn all of my old panties, socks, and bras in a big bonfire then go out and buy all new ones!

Jamie

I have just indulged in 3 new bras. I feel like a real woman in them. I stand tall and proud and even though I have lost weight there, they feel bigger! My husband plans on getting me some sexy lingerie when I reach goal, so he has some plans.

I thought I would put $50 bucks away each time I lose a couple of kilos (1kg = 2.2lbs). That way I can splurge at the end on whatever I want!

When I was on weight watchers a few years back, I lost a total of 18kg and at the end of it my hubby and I got tattoos. I had never wanted a tattoo before until I saw one that I liked. Never considered the pain or the lifetime thing, but it is still a great reminder of what I could achieve. They can be quite addictive, so I might get another one!

When I lose 50 lbs, I'm getting a new tattoo. I got my first one 6 months ago. Yes, 37 years old getting a tattoo. Mid-life crisis? Who knows? But they're like Lay's chips...

I'm still thinking about what I want when I meet goal. I haven't decided at this point.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
