I had the surgery from one hip to the other in the front. I do not know if he did Lipo as I did not know to ask him. He is a good surgeon, but is not very talkative or friendly. I am rather quiet and do not like to puch myself upon people of this nature. I lost 115 pounds and now weigh 174. I wish to loose more. Thank you and be well.

Not sure if I need that or not. I asked him the other day what exactly he thought I needed in addition to the Tummy Tuck and he said some Lipo on my chin. Now this gets me wondering.

i think a lot of PS's throw it in... i agree, without it, you may look 'unfinished'... wouldnt hurt to ask.

Tell 'em that's the new style.....belly buttons with beards!!!!

Sorry! Guess there was an advantage to all that hair loss besides not having to shave my legs anymore!!

Kat

I thought about this quote when my doc was talking about this during the consult. She does laser hair removal as part of the procedure at the pre-op so that there is no hair near the incision. I was thinking, Phew...No beard for me! Thanks for the laugh.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
