Thanks so much!

He thinks the aggrecation started about two weeks ago when I had a stomach bug and things got worse from there. He said that if I ever had a stomach bug again to come in asap to get a little unfill so that things have time to settle down so this doesn't happen again.

I am going to start measuring and writing down things again. I actually ate some chicken nuggets from Krystal for lunch about 2:30...it was the first time in almost a month that I could tolerate chicken! So I am going to kick up my Protein intake and hope that will help!

Yes, definately get in your Protein AND water! I bet you got really swollen from being sick/stomach upset. We really have to baby that organ now. I pray the kids don't come home from school with something. I don't need another delay myself. I feel sometimes I should be ahead/lost more than I have. I have to remember I've had complications along the way too. So - don't be too hard on yourself...just keep going and moving forward. Time will fly by and you'll be getting your fill in no time.

MOM,

OMG! I'm so sorry all of this is happening! Boy this group is having a rash of bad luck the last few weeks. I really hope you're okay. Please take good care of yourself and drink plenty of fluids. You'll be filled again in no time.

And you were just telling us how tight you said your band was. I'm sure once your stomach has a chance to settle down, you will be back on track. You've lost so much weight so far and it sounds like you're pretty disciplined. You might even lose more if you can eat a little and drink.

Hi everyone...been quiet around here the last few days.

Mom I am sorry you had issues but thankfully they weren't too serious and you will be able to get back on track and healthier :smile2:

I would faint if they tried to have me stand up and speak.... Lets just say I wouldn't be a good speaker while laying on the ground passed out!

Congrats to you though for all you have accomplished :bored:

Good morning, good morning, it's great to be awake, good morning, good morning to you! (in my best Debbie Reynold's voice - well hers because I can't sing). How are all my fellow Avengers?

Good Morning Leslie. Well I lost 2 pounds last week and now only 1 pound this week. I am really hoping that I am not heading for another plateau! I know a pound is a pound and I could live with losing that actually as long as it's steady haha. We will see though. I can't believe I am 216 now. I would of never thought I could get this close to onderland without my band and without starving. I owe a ton to the band :tongue2: Plus I am really happy to be over the first 50 pound hurdle!

The best friday ever is the one where you weigh in and the scale went down!

How is everyone else doing?

Good afternoon all!

Mom- I'm sorry to hear about your band issues. You'll be back on track in no time! Just keep doing what you know how to do, you'll be fine! This happened to me a couple of months ago, but I only had to have 1/4 cc removed for relief. You've come so far, just keep that in mind!

Well, I lost what I gained last week and then some (3.5 lbs)! Yah! I bought some new yoga pants today and bought size 12/14! Yee-haw. And yes they are stretchy, but still... It makes me feel better anyway!

Hope you all have a great weekend!!

Awesome on the 12/14! That's my goal for October...hope to make it now!

Today has been aweful! I feel like I've eaten so much. I wish I could have been fixed with 1/4cc gone but oh well. I've got a busy weekend planned so that should keep my mind off food. Then I can get back in the gym Monday. I never thought in a million years that I'd miss it, but I REALLY do!!!

You all have a good weekend too!

THANK YOU ALL FOR THE HICCUP INFO. See, I'm always in good company here! I'm not getting them as much now, nearly 10 days after the tight fill. I think it is from being tight and is a warning. Most of the time I was coughing and it turned into a hiccup .Or I'd get one. Just that one extended awful day. Now I'm still tight, but a little looser I think. Still stay with liquids until evening as day is still too hard to eat. Lost another pound- I have to fix my signature. 247.5. I'm in shock. I shopped in the back of the closet again today and people noticed. Feels GREAT.

I haven't caught up on emails last day or so, so I'll respond to everyone once I backtrack and read to catch up.

YAY MOM! That's great news.

Hope everyone is well.

I'll be MIA during Rosh Hashana, the Jewish New Year, as we're observant and don't work or use computers, etc during the holiday which is Tues and Wed. I'm not cookin' this year. Gioing out the the two dinners. I'm hoping to behave well. I'm sure I won't be able to eat much of what's made. I'm trying to be very careful and not PB much. I ate too much yesterday of the things I can get down, so today I'm really watching.

I uploaded photos into an album. Just too. One awful at 315 and one taken a few days ago. I hope I did it right. The most recent should now show on my emails as my profile. I'll check to see if that's down right also.

Later....

Gwenn

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
