Howdy Shamrocks!

I'm not going to repost the list because I didn't loose this week. I am going to be happy that I didn't gain. I did stick to the plan, so it is slightly frustrating, but that is ok. I had to get on the doctor's scale twice this week and I was down from the last time I had been to see them both times. My goal for 3/25 is to hit between 65 and 75 pounds lost. I even know the goal after that! I know I shouldn't get ahead of myself, but at that point I will be real close to oneunderland.

So, moving myself is the goal for the next week. It has been tough. My involuntary exercise is ok, but I need to get back with the program. Walking a few city blocks here and there isn't going to cut it.

Congrats Harley on getting back on track. Scrappy, you are an inspriration. Everyone has a tough time at some time. I'm guessin you will be at or very close to your goal by your one year anniversary.

Teri - great NSV. I think the NSV's are better than the SV sometimes!

Well... I again stayed the same, holding on for Tuesday when I get my desperately needed fill!!!!!

Glad to see so many of my shamrock friends on track!!! You guys rock!!!!!

Other news... had to cancel a big 90th get together for my grandma this weekend due to the forecast of up to 10 inches of snow by tomorrow evening. Holy Cow... we have seen a lot of snow this year!!! So far the first wave brought about 2 inches this evening, just planning on staying inside and warm this weekend:)

Down one this week. Not sure how that happened with all the munching I have been doing on all the wrong foods. Anyway, back on track tomorrow.

I have started doing stretches with my 8 yr old DS every evening. This week we found out he has a part of one of his vertebrae that never fused. I took him to the doctor because for years he's been having back pain and it's not getting better. So he has "spina bifida occulta". Thank God it's a very mild case, but I was very freaked out to see his spine was "broken" on the x-ray. His flexibility is limited since his spine does not curve normally and doing the stretches might help/can't hurt. So while I'm on the floor I'm throwing in some abdominal work....imagine that.

So, feeling blessed to have my three beautiful healthy children (I was very scared for a few days while the spinal surgeon and the ortho guys were consulting), and so glad I am getting healthy and thin.

Christine

Harley! You stole back my five pound weight loss this week! So I'm updating again.

Good loss to those who've lost, way to maintain to those who maintained, and chin up to those who had a little bump! and Yay to Scrappy, who was feeling blue, but powered through.

Christine, that must have been v. scary indeed - I'm glad your lad is fine!

I now repost the CORRECT data!

No body answered the Body Bugg question. Are you still using it? Why did you stop? It sounds interesting but I guess not realistic to use all the time.

I don't know WHAT you copied! I was down 5 lbs but in one week - the thing you have there has never before existed!

I'm being coy about my start and current weights. When it gets to something more palatable, I'll put it up. Indeed, when I began pushing for this idea, I think I specified that people don't have to put their weights down!

Ok guys, I can't figure out what it is that you're doing with the weights. Is it a weekly weigh in? Or what is it? I am clueless since I wasn't checking in here for a few weeks and now I would like to join too.

yes, weekly....we've been setting Friday as a weigh-in day!

I am just so surprised at what difference it made in how my band feels by doing that little five day program. I made some whole wheat Pasta and marinara with ground beef for dinner last night and seriously felt very full with about 15 penne Pasta noodles and some sauce....sure hope this lasts!!

I propose that each week we start a new list with just the pounds lost/gained that week. Fresh week, fresh list. How about that? With no current weight.

I tried to make it as current as possible. Sorry if i missed anyone.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
