Should I cut my hair? (see pics)

Thanks guys, the pics arent even the greatest, it's hard to snap a good one of yourself but I really do like it and the colours aren't even shown justice in the house light, I'll try to get one taken outdoors in the sun soon!

I'm glad I cut it because my hair was just getting too boring. The pic in my signature is from the summer time as well (early september) so there was considerably more boring, drab looking length to it.

My stylist (first time going to her) was fantastic and I will be going back to her from now on out.

To cut the length off she put my hair in a low pony tail, wrapped an elastic around and snipped that way it can be donated to Locks for Love (I believe that's what it's called, the place that makes wigs for kids, etc. battling cancer).

I think it looks awesome! It's so hip and stylish and you have the option to wear it straight and sleek too! I think you made the right decision. Your face is made for shorter hair, IMO.

Thanks! And I'm hoping as I lose more weight in my face it will look even better

Do you have thick or thin hair? My hair is thick and I was wondering if it is too thick for that cut. It will probably be a few months before I cut it, but I was just wondering.

You should definitely investigate that with your stylist, because thick hair or not, if she thinks that cut would work they do have techniques to "thin out" really thick hair. I've even had that done to mine before on certain styles and I don't really have thick hair. I have fine, super straight hair but I have a LOT of it.

These pics are about 2-3 years old, but this is the shortest that I have ever gone. Sorry the one pic is kinda fuzzy.

I think that you should do what you feel comfortable with. You have a lovely face that is accentuated when your hair frames it. If you decide that you want long hair for your wedding, you can always get temporary extensions.

The cut is "charming"...I cut 14inches off 2 months ago and I LOVE my short hair. Not sure who mentioned it here, but at 38 the long hair didn't suit me any longer, almost made me look older. Love the short shaggy bob - makes running a lot easier w/out a mop of hair on top of me....

You look Fab - love the highlites!!!

I think your hair looks best in the 1st pic. By the way, what is your ticker scale at the time of your pictures, you sure don't look like you need to lose 144 lbs?

Awww thanks so much, what a great compliment. In all of the pictures I've posted I can't tell exactly what the I weighed but the range would be between 290 and 315 (my weight range variance for the past 5 or so years).

I wish I could get my hair to do stuff. Unfortunately, it's fairly curly (not Annie-curly, but it gets ringlets when long and uncombed), so I can either do short and curly/wavey or longer and frizzy-curly. Can't style it for anything. It's very stubborn; all it does is curl. Which is nice, when I'm in the mood for curly hair. If I want it to look like something other than curls, though, I'm SOL. No popular style ever works. Hell, even styled curls don't work. If I want it to curl one way, it invariably curls the exact opposite direction.

Hey Jeannie!

I really do want to eventually get it cut that way. I'm just not ready to do it yet. I would love to see pictures of your "new do"!

Thanks Angelic1, I'm so torn. I txtd my fiance that I am having a hair obsession moment lol, will be interesting to find out what he says because.. he likes long.

my hubby likes long hair 2,i like your hair better with a bit of lenght to it,but it is harder to look arfter the longer it gets,my hair is shoulder lenght and naturaly curly, you may have more options of how you want to wear your hair on your big day if it is longer, but im sure you will look fab anyway.all the best, enjoy your wedding planning[hoe exciteing]:crying:

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
