Not being able to navigate back to the Forum

Recommended Posts

When I am in certain forums, I can't navigate back to the main forum page if I am visiting a thread. I have to click on HOME to get back to the main board. On this forum, if you scroll up back to the top and go higher than the thread title, you see LapBandTalk.com - Lap Band Forum > Lap-Band Talk Community Center > LBT Forum Suggestions, Feedback & Questions

But on many other forums, you don't get this anymore.

Me too ugh! I just hit the back button, but then it shows the thread as unread.

If you click on the Lap Band Talk logo in the upper left hand corner, it takes you back to the main page. I haven't seen a page where that has not worked for me.

If I am following what you are missing....I am missing it too!! I used the little open book looking thing like a refresh button. I reopened that thread with the newest post---not on page one. It used to be on the top of each thread-----like a map of how you got there.....Which forum, then which thread....and on. Now the top of the page lists the thread with an opening sentence and the ability to refresh the page is gone without starting all over.

I miss it too!

For some reason, it is now located underneath the last post in the thread.

But I just clicked it----and it does not do what the other place used to.....it took me back to the forum--not the individual thread, and the place I was in that thread...

Dangit!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
