I did not read all the commenst. But to the original poster, I always had a very good sex drive. I was always ready and as I started to loose weight I lost it and its still gone. My husband is getting more and more angry. I hope I get it back one day.

Haha...supposedly for every 20 lbs you lose, you gain back an inch of your penis that was lost in the fat. Bonus! LOL

Hey that's true! Everytime I pass the mirror I think "hey! where did that come from?"

I tell my wife, "Hey! doesn't this look bigger?" She just rolls her eyes... :tongue_smilie:

But my sex drive has increased many times over so far. I think it's the self confidence issue fading away. When you start looking in the mirror and seeing a body from yesteryear and think, "damn - I look pretty good again" it drives the bus so to speak.

I have always had a healthy appetite (for food and nookie). That hasn't changed since surgery, but my husband wants it twice as often as before. The loss of inches has removed some of the padding that was in the way of deeper penetration, and my flexibility is amazing now. It is also much faster for me to reach climax now :frown:

I'm sooo glad I found this thread! I thought I was the only 28 year old with little to no sex drive! I hope to God my sex drive returns. When I was dating my husband we would have sex a least 5x a week multiple times a day, and now we're lucky to get it in once every few weeks! I hate it, hopefully it will all change after we are both banded.

I havent had sex since I was way bigger, I used this as a way to kind of punish myself for getting so heavy.. now that I've dropped 75 lbs, im looking at guys like.. oooh do able, oooh very doable.. and omg im going to pounce on him.. I'm sure it won't be much longer before I break my good girl habbit..

This thread is cracking me up. But one thing I can vouch for to all the guys is that as you lose lbs, you gain inches, and the same the other direction. I used to be ~150 lbs lighter that I am today, and I still remember how it "used to be". I'm getting banded soon... so hopefully I'll drop 150 (or more) and relive the glory days and some.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
