OMG! Our Nikki is ready to GO!! You certainly sound like you are anyway! You can hear the horomones in your typing! The living room suite sounds beautiful... Why not get it? If the hubby approves and it makes your house feel a bit more put together and ready for the new addition, go for it! That baby is gonna be here before we know it! You rest and take it easy girl.

And don't worry... there is still no chance of losing me in the snow! haha

VAband - I had to check my clocks about 90 times to convince myself that I'd set them correctly... I am such a wuss.

Steph - how is the empty house? are you going crazy yet?

I'm approved for the tummy tuck!!!

I'm so freaking excited!!! I called the insurance company this morning and they said I am approved!!! I called the doctors office and they said they have me in their pile to call to set up dates - yes!!! Please please pray that I will get in this month so I can take a whole week to rest and then work a few weeks of just 1/2 days or here and there days. After mid April theres no way I can take a whole week off, I could probably get away with half days but by May 1st theres no taking time off. Did I say I'm so excited?!

The empty house .. well I've been too busy to feel it. Olivia had her state boards yesterday so we went out Sunday night and spent the night, she had to be there early, then after her boards we went to lunch and shopped - today I'm at work so I guess I'll feel it later.

I'm going to take some before pics - I'll post on yahoo, I'm so flipping excited! I can't even think of anything else right now.

Nikki - whats your due date? Keep us posted. I agree about the new furniture will be nice to come home to when the babe is born.

Bman - are you liking your new job?

Va - did you hear anything else about your job yet?

Boo - are you working and going to school both? Your ps is coming up soon too isn't it? How excited are you?

Jackie - jump in whenever you want.

I guess I'll go do some cartwheels :lol::tt2:

Boo - my sister had a tt a few years ago, she loves it except that she's gained weight again. She said the surgery itself wasn't bad at all but she went through a huge hormonal change, she was in the middle of menopause and our hormones are stored in our fat so when she had all that fat removed it threw her head first into the crazy part of menopause. She said her dr had never had anyone else ever go through that so I'm not worried about that. I was concerned about the drainage tubes but she told me they were no big deal and came out after a week. Which is also what my dr said. She said the first few days you get alot of Fluid and then it slows up to just a little bit. She said she thinks I should be able to get back to work in the 2nd week since I sit at a desk. So now I just have to wait and see what kind of date they can give me.

Jill - don't be doing any cartwheels now, take care of the babster. Whens your due date? My dil thinks hers is Nov 5.

Um, yes mam. Unfortunately, I sure do... It is pretty big if you ask me... not a small thing. It really is substantial... and that is NOT me being negative. My poor tummy was severely stretched out.

I can lift it up and stick something under it. YUCK... To much info... I KNOW.

I am going to be brave and post an edited picture on Yahoo...

We can easily post the pics that make us look good. But I don't mind showing the REALITY that is me. The body has got some issues.

You will see how well I HIDE all the extra skin I have hanging around my middle. Believe me it IS there. I don't mind if you ladies see. That is what this is all about. Education through experience.

You will all see the ton of skin. My poor belly button is lost in it. It is all squishy where the fat is gone (of course there is more fat to lose... but, ugh)

It would be so nice to have some positive news for a change. It would be years before I could afford it myself.

-----------------------------

Low carbing it is going well. Still right on track! only 11 carbs today

I walked about a mile and a 1/2 tonight. I have to get back to exercising. I can't wait to get out of training and get into that gym at work!

I didn't mean to sound negative but you look so good to me, I would never have thought you had the extra skin aka apron. I hope you qualify, its the best feeling I've had since I qualified for the band.. kinda gives me hope.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
