How’s all my December buddies recovering?

I am 4 days post op. I will say until today I was having bad buyers remorse. This procedure was way more painful than the sleeve I had a few years ago. The pain was excruciating but I feel I made a turn today. I have weened myself off of pain meds and started my vitamins today. Struggle is real getting liquids and protein down but this will get better.

Gonna sail into the new year in my pajamas for sure!

It takes time. It’s definitely not an easy road, but you are making progress! I was on pain meds for a couple of weeks after surgery. Keep pushing through. You’re doing great!!
