I am so excited I am getting my boobs done in December and my pre-op appt is soon where I get tot he pick the size! I am researching but wanted real life opinions. What did you get? What cc's? What type of implants? High, moderate or low profile?

Is the drop and fluff a real thing?

Mine are 375cc moderate profile. I told my doc I wanted to be about a D cup. Turns out I’m a 32G. Drop and fluff-I guess that’s what I’d call it. Mine looked weirdly squared along the bottom, the rounded out after a couple months. I’m still thrilled with my results almost 4 years later.

450 cc, silicone, UHP,

I'm 5'4 & 140#, I'm a 36DD-DDD

Yes drop and fluff is a real thing. They look scary, weird, high and square at first. Then they drop and look amazing.

I'm 5 yrs out and still love mineIMG_1384.thumb.jpg.58e786b0566129a4bb1d8c8fa63f3fe4.jpg

I was flat, deflated and basically just skin pre op. But, in this pic, I'm about 30# more than my weight at the time of my BA. So I probably had about a B cup worth of tissue at this point in time.

I like UHP because of the projection and upper pole it gives me

Honestly I have no idea what actual size I was. I was only wearing sports bras pre-op but had a whole lot of loose flesh. Just empty sacks of skin really. Mine are the “gummy bear” type of silicone implant, and were placed under the muscle.

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.
