EXerCise Challenge!!!!!!!!!

Recommended Posts

Just bought a year subscription to push.tv with Bob Harper as my DVD trainer. I like the idea of the video at home and the ability to interact with their website. $225 for the year. I figured I spent so much trying to lose weight, what's one more thing? They send a new video every month based on your progress.

Bob Harper is great! I'm a major Biggest Loser fan. But please...no spoilers about the finale show. I didn't have time to watch it yet and it's waiting on my Tivo for me. I'm so excited to see who wins and and see all the contestants' "transformations" as they like to call it.

I don't know if I will join this challenge because it's only 3 weeks til my surgery and I have a lot going on from now until then. I have been exercising though, which is a good thing.

RedTulips3 the Biggest Loser transformations were AMAZING!!! I was lying there watching thinking why can't I just do what they did (of course they did go on a farm for 3-4 months) when one of the contestants voiced exactly what we all fear...she said 90% of people but their weight back on and I hope I am in the 10% that make this a permanent life change...and it made me 100% sure about the band becasue we can all lose weight, its the struggle after that we lose so with this tool the odds are probably flipped...10% put it back on and 90% of us are going to be successful permanently!

I am waiting on approval for surgery...so I dont' want to start a challenge yet...just willing to take suggestions.

I don't watch the biggest looser....

I used to but lost track after season 2.

I will check out this push.tv thing though!

I too LOVE The Biggest Looser. Last niights show was amazing. Those people are so inspiring to me. I cried every time one of them got on the scale.

As for an exercise challenge, I have no idea what to suggest. About the only thing I do consistently is Walk Away the Pounds. SOOOO, I am looking forward to everyones suggestions.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
