Weird tummy noise

Recommended Posts

Yep lol My husband jokes that he's waiting for an alien to push its way out of my stomach. As you get further out, the noises won't just be when eating or drinking. They'll happen at the movies, during sexy time, when watching tv, when trying to sleep, when you have people over....lol It's the new normal 'round these parts :)

Thank you! [emoji4] I'm sure my husband and I will get a lot of laughs in the future with our alien too! Haha!

I used to say I had a poltergeist in my tummy groaning & moaning & rattling the chains. Mine still grumbles & whines most every day up to an hour or more after I’ve eaten or drunk (just whined then 😆😆). My young nieces & nephews think it’s hilarious. I was told it’s just your digestive system doing what it’s supposed to do - digest food. Doesn’t mean you’re hungry as we were always told when our tummy growled.

I'm curious, is this just a sleeve thing? I'm a bypass patient, but I've not had anything like this?

I do not have a sleeve- I had bypass.

Interesting. I didn't have anything like this, so it's not universal.

You might want to update your profile so we know more about your surgery. While some things are consistent between sleeve and bypass, not all are.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
