I am looking for some advice on how to stop losing weight. I just want to maintain. I already increased my carbs, and portions. I never thought I would be asking how to STOP losing weight, LOL. I am just afraid I am looking too skinny now. My face is starting to look old, and drawn out. My collar bone is sticking out, and it doesn't look good.

This question deserves a visit to your Dietician. They are wonderful at figuring out good healthy strategies to adjust weight in either direction.

I am in the same boat right now. I am trying to add healthy fat to my diet, since it doesn’t fill me up like carbs. For instance, I am using more olive oil in my salad dressings and eating more avocado. I am also eating more oatmeal and fresh fruit, often as Snacks. I literally feel like I am eating all day right now. My weight loss is definitely slowing, but I am still in the process of finding balance. Talking to a dietitian is a great option, and you can dial things in for what works with your tummy.

I wouldn't try too hard. The vast majority of us regain 10-20 lbs without trying in year 2 or 3, before our weight settles and stabilizes (unfortunately, some gain way more than that if they're not careful). Also, fat redistributes a bit and you start looking better, even if you don't gain or lose anything. My "ancient", drawn face gradually looked a bit fuller and healthier.

I swore I wouldn't be one of "those" people who experienced a rebound, yet----here I am! (I bottomed out at 138 - now I bounce around in the 150s and have been here for c. three years).

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
