@Tina Leo I am having a revision on March 16 also. I had lap-band then removal 6 years later. Sleeve 2 years ago and now to DS due to Bile reflux, GERD, gastritis and need hernia repair and adhesions removed. I am so nervous! I hope your hanging in there, the count down is on for us. 😁

Best of luck to you! I'm nervous too - but we've done this once (in your case - more than once!) and we can do it again! Let me know how things go. If you'd rather connect on FB (I'm not here super often) - Tina Leonard (Girard, IL) please add me - we can chat thru messenger!

YOU GOT THIS! :)

Good luck to all fixing to have surgery!!! That’s awesome! And the ones who have had the revision already I would love to hear how things are going! You don’t hear much from people on revisions and how they are doing!

Revision is such an interesting topic! I'm hoping I can get the rest of my weight off on my own, but my Surgeon and Endo are talking about some sort of revision that might help my reactive hypoglycemia. I hope everyone does well with their revision and appointments! I would also love to hear how everyone is doing after!

Any updates from you ladies that had the revisions completed recently? Would love to hear about your journey

I had bypass revision on Jan 11,21 which included a common chanel resection as well as making the original pouch smaller. I have lost 62 lbs and am doing amazingly well post op. No vomiting, nausea, or heartburn, I still have 3 weeks left of taking a daily prilosec but then I will be just on my bariatric Vitamin and Calcium chew. I was able to stop taking my only prescription medication for high blood pressure. I go to the gym about 4 times a week and my back pain has decreased significantly. My comfortable goal is to loose 40 more pounds but would love to loose 45 just to make sure.

Have lost +25 lbs since surgery 3/16. Been feeling good - less tired than the first couple weeks. Had a weird abdominal muscle cramp that lasted 4ish days - surgeon's nurse was able prescribe some Flexiril, which helped and is now much improved - if I twist just so it twinges but not like that first time. I have taken no BP meds since surgery and haven't felt like my pressures were high. Recheck with the surgeon on Thursday this week. The sun is shining. I'm feeling good, and everything seems to be moving in the right direction!

Grahamco - I hope your advocate is getting somewhere! Fingers crossed. 🤞

Had Gastric Bypass on Jan 2015, Just had a Overstich revision surgery this Tuesday May 11. I was in some pain and was tired the first few days. I was on a clear liquid for a week and now on full liquids for 3 weeks, than eventually soft foods. I was fine the first few days but now feel weak, exhausted, headache. Not much hunger just sick feeling. I did not have to be on a preop liquid diet but I did cut down some. I basically went from two thousand calories to like 500. Tryin my best but this is harder than my first surgery. I'm in Michigan. Will keep you guys updated, I have to do this regardless!!! Good luck you guys!!!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
