December 28, 2020 surgery date, looking for friend?

Recommended Posts

Hi!! I’m scheduled for December 28 and I’m looking for some buddies within a week or so of the same date. I’m so nervous/excited!! I need an accountability friend, though, someone who understands what’s going on. 😁

Hi, I'll be your friend! I just found these forums; in fact, this is my first post. My surgery date is January 5, so I'll be having my sleeve exactly one week and one day after you.

I started a year ago at 301 lbs. Now at 274. Hoping to take off another few before surgery, but as long as I can maintain through the holidays I'll be happy. Goal weight? Um. No idea, to be honest. I've been fat my whole life, so I can't really conceive of myself as straight-sized!

How are you ladies doing?? I have a new best friend, Zero Gatorade seems to be easier for me to go down for some reason. Thursday will be my start of phase 2 for puree foods. What are some of your best puree foods?

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
