This thread is everything!!!! My surgery is in 3 1/2 weeks, and I have to do 1 week pre op diet so I'm actively looking for Protein Shakes and liquids. Very happy to hear there's some good ones.

Since we will be on pre op liquids at the same time.......what have you been told your allowed on your pre op diet? Mine is strict lol and 2 weeks long 🤪

I only have to do 1 week. And I can have broth, Water (I'm doing Protein and electrolyte water), Protein Shakes, and protein smoothies. I bought A LOT so I have enough for the 1 week before surgery and the 2 weeks after. I can also have sugar free popsicles (I literally can't find any at Walmart, King Soopers, Safeway, or Family Dollar!!!!) And that's it. That was all I was told I can have. My dietician said it's because it's only a week, so no small meals or mushy foods or anything

Ok yep that aligns with mine. Look for this brand of sugar free popsicles to see if you can find them

Those are what I was looking for, but there wasn't any at all!!! Like, REALLY? I always see them, and now when I actually need them, NOPE!!!

What about the Walmart Great Value brand? They have sugar free ones too

Nope. Nothing there. I live in a major city, and we tried 3 Walmarts, 3 King Soopers, 2 Safeways, and 4 Family Dollars. Nada. Zip. Zilch. Zero.

Oh wow!!! Keep looking. Did you call your local Walmart to see if they have them ordered and if there is an expected delivery date? I know the supply chain sucks right now but maybe if they are ordered they can give you an approx time to watch for them?? Just a thought

No, actually, I didn't do that. I think I will. I really want a couple of boxes for when I'm sick of drinking everything and want to "chew" something.
