I don't know how far you out but if just had surgery try pureeing all that if you aren't already maybe you just need to go back a step for a little while

I'm 8 weeks. You're right maybe I need to go back a step.

I’m two months out and puked up chicken breast two days ago. I do much better with thighs. I think the breast is too dry and I plan to avoid it for now. It is just too uncomfortable until it comes back up. 🤢 Ground meats were much easier earlier out. My favorites in soft foods were refried Beans and scallops.

Yes ground foods are easier to get down. I had meatloaf and only had to throw it up once and that's because I think I ate too much.

I'm 4 years out and I still have to be careful with chicken. Once you've identified a food that is giving you problems, wait a couple of weeks, then try a small amount.

Another suggestion is to try it in a Soup first since it will be much moister.

It was 2 years before I could eat asparagus. Now I can if I consciously chew and only eat the tips.

Thanks!

Check out the Verteran's Forum Thread "Is there Anything you still can't eat?"

Thanks I will check it out. I haven't tried a lot of food yet. I've been basically living off quiche.

Having gall bladder surgery in a few days and I so hope the recovery is easier than the one from the modified DS! I could use a bit of luck/pep talk for a change. I'm starting to be able to walk around without experiencing dizziness, but it would be great if the random pain in my chest and abdomen would go away!!

      Today was rough...
I've been experiencing a headache all day today that just won't go away. I'm thinking it's now progressing into a migraine. Does anyone else get headaches from taking vitamin B12? I did some research and learned that usually a lack of B12 causes headaches. But I've noticed when I take it, I have reoccurring headaches. 😫
