Stop vitamin before annual lab test?

I am due to have my annual labs done. No issues in the past or currently. I do take the high dose vitamin that my doctor recommends for bypass patients.

Did anyone stop their vitamin before their labs? for 24 hour? longer?

Thanks,

I was instructed to stop mine for two days prior to my blood tests, but it might depend on your surgeon. If you're unsure, ask them or whoever is doing the labs for you. :)

I was told to stop them the day before, but to by honest, I'm not sure why. I take vitamins every day, so if I took them the day of the blood draw, my blood levels wouldn't be any different than they'd be any other day, so.. A lot of people say they weren't required to do that. Must just be the opinion of certain clinics.

I was told it was fine to take them like normal, but since the labs are fasting obviously don't eat or take them the day of until after you've done the labs.
