I know this is like a no go on Fast food but I wanted to ask anyways when it comes to pizzas are the gluten free ones okay to eat. My stomach is like hell no to breads and other doughy things but I know like thin crust the gluten free is also thin. Has anyone tired it and how has it felt on your stomach?

Before my surgery, we used to get low carb tortillas and bake them till crispy (both sides), then we'd top them off just like a regular pizza - pop back in the oven followed by the broiler, and it makes a pretty darn good "pizza" at a quarter of the calories of traditional pizza.

for the first few years, I just scrapped the toppings off the pizza and ate those. Now I occasionally eat a regular piece - or the kind with the cauliflower crusts.

I just buy cauliflower pizza and eat that since I was told to avoid all bread products until a year after my surgery. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Real good makes a Protein mini pizzas that are very high in protein and low in carbs because the "dough" is actually thin grilled chicken. I enjoy them very much.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
