I'm in delaware...schedule and approved for 4/9. My surgery will be at a surgery center. I received a call today from the nurse going over my medical history. I asked of the likeliness that I would be rescheduled (which why I thought she was calling) and she said everything still looks good for 4/9. My state has a stay at home order effective tomorrow.

It's MY time!

I sorry you’re getting canceled. Mine was canceled the day before I was going in, and it really sucks to have been on a liquid diet for 7 days only to get canceled! Good luck and praying for you! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽I’m in Michigan and out Governor just put the entire state on lockdown!

Several people that were in my preop class were in that situation as they had already been on liquid diet and then just cancelled same day as me. I was supposed to start my in 2 days. It sucks for all of us. I know everything happens for a reason but I was really hoping to have lost some weight and be able to enjoy a little bit of summer this year. At this rate I'm spending another summer too fat to go anywhere all summer.

I was scheduled for April 1st but last week I got a call from my bariatric Center telling me that they’ve moved my date to April 29th it’s pretty bad here in Louisiana so my date most likely will be changed again I’m praying for everyone let’s just keep each other uplifted as we all weather this storm together 💛

I received this today from Michigan Medicine in Ann Arbor. All elective surgeries are postponed until after 4/10/20. Our directors are reassessing this timeline every day since things are changing very quickly.
As of now you are still scheduled for 4/15/20, but if that changes our schedulers will be reaching out to as soon as we can.
I think I'd be more comfortable waiting at this point anyway.

In Washington this is one thing our Governor addressed with an "Emergency Order". All non essential surgeries (that are not emergencies or will not do harm if it were to wait 3 months) have been banned until May 18th unless he extends it later.

Really sucks, my surgery was scheduled for May 13th. We are not selfish to feel disappointed, this is a very emotional topic that will change our lives, we will get through this together. :)

Yes, it does. I was scheduled for Thursday of this week. There's a *small* chance of the order being rescinded if case numbers had a complete turnaround, but odds are surgeries will not be restarted until at least then. So anyone scheduled for before that May 18th will go in order after that. I, unfortunately, may have to postpone mine further until the end of the school year on June 19th anyway.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
