I was just curious as to how much daily exercise everyone is getting. I’m roughly walking between 5-8 miles a day, I work at a hospital and there is always somewhere to go.

I recently stepped mine up because I had a slight gain over the holidays. I'm doing weights 2x a week and cardio 3-4x a week (usually Water aerobics or some kind of dance cardio - like Zumba or WERQ. Although I've even done 30 minutes on the stationary bike when I'm not in the mood to do anything else. Anything is better than nothing...)

I've got knee issues et al. So I'm happy if I can get 5000 steps in, and that is at a dog walking, smelling the flowers pace. Come summer I'll be kayaking and swimming.

I am all over the place. Some weeks I walk 4-5 miles almost every day. Last weekend I walked 10 miles and 14 miles (Sat/Sun). I haven't walked since then. This weekend I will do some more really long walks, but I do hope to walk more during the work week. My daughter can't drive to her after school activities since She doesn't have her drivers license, and it is hard to get my workouts in every day like I would like to. She gets her license next month though so I am excited. At that time I hope to go back to doing Pilates at least twice a week. Those classes are 45-60 minutes and I tend to walk a couple miles afterwards. I am not doing weights or anything right now. I MAY try to join a Zumba class, if I can get through it without my heart rate getting too fast like it has in the past.

Every day: at least 10,000 steps, 30 flights of stairs (increasing as I work toward a Grand Canyon hike), 150 wall pushups, leg exercises, upper body weights, and stretching.

Every week: 40-50 miles of biking, 15-25 miles of hill hiking (increasing monthly), elliptical machine on days I cannot hike or bike due to weather or darkness. Will start back with swimming next month as I train toward a triathlon in March.

I work full time as a nurse, and am on my feet all day, every day. I also have a large garden and livestock, so I am always digging or shoveling one thing or another.

I wish I had half the energy some of you guys have! I watch my two grandsons ages 3 and 1 five days a week. After that I enjoy long sits on the couch instead of long bike rides or hikes 🤣 You guys are doing great!

I have shredded menisci (both knees) but I still try to exercise as much as I can without my knees locking up or overwhelming pain. I love to exercise, but at 66 yrs old I can't do it every day like when I was younger.

Cardio: I power walk (16 min/mi) for 1-1.5 hrs every other day.

Weight training, upper and lower body: 45-60 min. every other day.

1 hour walking the dog at the very least 4 times a week (often before going to work). I do this more for my head than my body to be honest.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
