I'm down a little more than 35 pounds. Trying to get in lots of Protein, Water, and Vitamins. Exercise only walking at this point, because I still get really tired. I'm pretty strict following my plan. Dealing with some acid production at times, it doesn't burn, but it feels like bad hunger ache/pains. Still taking the prilosec once a day for it. Hope all the December sleevers are doing well.

you're doing great! It may be easier to buy Protein Powder and mix it with something vs buying the shakes. I ujse Isopure unflavored Protein powder and it's 30g of Protein per scoop. Would last you longer than a package of shakes. Just use the powder once a day and eat the rest of you protein!

I am curious about the unflavored Protein Powder. Can you mix it with Water and/or herbal tea?

Hope everyone is doing well!

I'm now 233 from 275 on surgery day, 312 highest weight! This is definitely a roller coaster but I'm getting more used to it!

I was sleeved on 12/18

Lost 25 lbs in first 2 weeks. Another 10 in the following 2 weeks. (Roughly)
Been in a stall ever since. Do stalls last 5-6 weeks this early on?
I’ve done all the research & work diligently with my nutritionist. Changed up my routines a bit to try & kickstart but having no luck. She says it’s normal and as long as I get in my Water, Protein and Vitamins every day then I should be good. This does not seem normal to me.

Any thoughts on this? Getting desperate

HW 304
SW 270
CW 235
Daily calorie intake 700-1000
Protein - at least 90g per day
Water - 100+oz per day

Hi JBronx, I was sleeved 2 days before you! My question would be, in addition to all the awesome stuff above you mentioned, is what is your activity? I too found a stall around the same time, it's hard when you lose so much at the beginning, then I stalled to like a pound a week. Getting active (I go to a crossfit gym) has helped me immensely, getting over the "stall!" Try not to get desperate, it gets slow at times!

@freedom&bliss

I was just walking for exercise. I also moved-so lifting boxes up and down steps, painting, etc.... to jumpstart things about 2 weeks ago, I started doing kettlebell exercises. Lunges, swings, goblet squats, etc... still no change.
I’d be happy with a pound a week. At least there would be movement

Down 26 lbs. since sleeve on 12/31. I've lost every week - sometimes a pound, sometimes more. I only weigh myself once a week - Weigh-in Wednesday!

Walking 1.5 miles every morning.

Mixing collagen Protein powder into my coffee and mixing regular protein powder into a green juice (no fruit) every day. I get in a Protein Shake every day by using some of it as Creamer and drinking the rest in the afternoon as a snack. My goal is 89g of protein daily.

Also, down a shirt size and two pant sizes.

I keep track of everything on the Baritastic app, which I believe is the biggest key to my success!

Hi Everyone and Surgery Buddies,

Stats: Sleeved 12/23/19 HW205, SW199, CW 171. #31lost and 19inches overall. 🙂

A bit over 2 mos out and doing ok. No issues with meds/vitamins. Do have issues with heartburn from time to time but Tums helps. Down 2 pants and shirt sizes and appreciate the nsvs like being comfortable in my clothes, skin and not being out of breath and tired all the time! I can exercise now and do walking 3 miles a day and I do flights of stairs 1-2 times a day at work. No gym yet. I'm still struggling with eating real food and trying to lose weight. I do struggle with getting over 55oz of liquids in daily. Just not enough time in the day to get it all in, as I can get really full just off liquids. I usually have coffee with vanilla Protein Shake for creamer for Breakfast and 2oz of Protein yogurt. lunch is protein shake or on occasion 1-2oz of meat and cheese, refried Beans, tuna etc. dinner is 4oz of meat and veggies. Have found my downfall is after dinner snacking. Hubby encourages it since he does and its bad for us both. I've had to learn to deal with stress and emotional eating in different ways. I now have a mantra I say to myself "I am worth being healthy, xyz is not my issue, not worth sabotaging my happiness and wls journey". Then I get out of the kitchen and find something else to occupy my time. Thank goodness my dog never tires of walks or playtime. 🙂🐶

I wish everyone the best and much success on the continued wls journey!

Hey! I just wanted to say because you are my surgery date twin! I am so glad to hear that you are making progress! Keep up the great work!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
