10 Week Post Op Weight loss stall

Recommended Posts

Experiencing my first stall. I know it's normal. Just curious if anybody has any tips or something they've tried to break the stall?

Oh they're so, so frustrating. Just rest assured that it's nothing you've done wrong. Therefore, there isn't something you can do about it. It just has to run its course. Hang in there and keep up the good work.

Breath and stay on course - I can fix the stall Do not weigh yourself for a few weeks - Really take a break from the scale and just stay on your program.

Change something up. Eat a bit more, increase your carbs or Protein or Water intake or change up/increase your exercise. That should clear it within a week.

I haven't hit a true stall longer than 3 days yet (knock on wood) but there have been full weeks where my weight loss has slowed to 1-2 pounds in those weeks.

Thanks everybody for the advice! :) I'm gonna stay off the scale and change up my routine and foods. Hopefully that'll make a difference.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
