Slipped already!

Ugh! I am 15 days post op and I did a bad thing and I hate myself for it. I ate half of my kids kinder surprise egg and I feel terrible. Physically and mentally. I melted it on my mouth but why did I have to do that?! I am reading forums and blogs to see what happens and if anyone has ever done it but looks like I am the only big mouth that couldn’t stay away.
Please tell me it’ll be ok.

It's so not the end of the world @curtains. As long as you keep this attitude about yourself when something like this happens, you'll be ok. It's never to late to keep trying and staying on track, just don't quit because you think you're failing. That's when you really will fail when you tell yourself it's too late to fix it. Just get back up, dust yourself off, and keep going at it. You're good, promise!!!

I've read forum and blogs about people slipping up. It happens, it's normal. Don't be so hard on yourself. The greatest thing is that you acknowledge what you did wrong. Best of luck on your new journey. I'm sure you'll do great.

Thank you so much! I found about people eating a cookie and ended up at the hospital for two weeks. My BP and pulse went sky high! I took a walk and had a nice cry now I am back to normal. I don’t think I’ll ever stray any time soon. My hospital and dietician didn’t arm me with a lot of information so I didn’t even know sugar could hurt your sleeve! I only thought it was a bad choice diet-wise.

It'll be okay. Just try to follow your doctor's recommended post-op diet plan of 60 g of Protein each day, 64 oz of Water each day. You're human. It's okay.

GURL if I confessed all the times I have slipped we would need a new forum. lol The good thing for me is I got really sick from overeating when I did so I learned the hard way to NOT DO IT lol I have cheated a bit.....a bite of pizza, a sliver of pie, on special occasions. we all do. anybody who says the don't might be fibbing lol

)Well after the painful encounter with ham salad on toast last weekend I have been avoiding the bread family sincerely. Someone told ME your pouch can handle toast, hers might, mine sure didn't!👈😫👉

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
