Slowly but surely, it's coming off. I am impatient and it's slow, but it's definitely working. I love seeing so much success. When I get on here and see posts like yours I'm reminded how this is really life changing. [emoji175]

Hey everybody!
I wanted to post in celebration of hitting my weight loss goal just shy of my 6 month mark (5 months and 26 days). I am now 175lbs!
I was as thin as a rail in high school and weighed 155 consistently all 4 years. I never thought I'd be this close to my high school weight so quickly. My new goal (which I never thought was possible) is to hit 155 and be done, for my height, I don't want to weigh any less and I don't want to lose my curves.
It can be done. Use this tool to change your life and your health!
Don't get discouraged or beat yourself up. You can do it. If I can do it, you can do it!!!! I work from home and have led a very sedentary life, just walking and taking the stairs instead of an elevator, parking far across the parking lot at Target...it all adds up and helps!
I went from 3-4x Top and bottoms (size 24) to an XL top and L bottoms (size 12) and bra size 42F to 36DDD.
I hope if anyone reading this and feels discouraged or has any questions, you can reach out to me and I'm happy to help in any way I can...even if it's just talking it out.
I wish everyone nothing but the best and hope you're all happy and healthy!!!

Congratulations!! That is so inspirational! I'm so happy for you!! :) Is there anything specific you did that you feel contributed to your weight loss?

After work, I run errands/clean and try to get in 6000 to 10000 steps per day. Just from cleaning my house and running errands and taking the dogs out, I get my exercise in. I did just buy a treadmill that's getting delivered soon, so we'll see how that affects the weight loss.

I drink lots of iced tea with lemon and Sweet'n'Low and Water, and I like to add liquid IV to some of my water bottles throughout the day (google that one if you have a hard time getting your liquids in).

I eat lots of Protein (even chicken strips from fast food places) but mainly just meat and vegetarian meat substitutes JUST protein. (I've of course cheated on occasion and had some fries).

Once I could stop doing the shakes, I stopped them pretty quickly. I hate them and they make me sick...every single one I've tried turns my stomach sour before and after surgery.

Also lots of riced cauliflower, you can make that stuff into anything!

I do also fast intermittently. A lot of people don't recommend it, but it works for me. I will go 24 hours on liquids alone and have found that when I feel like I'm staling for a few days it kicks my body back into gear. I started doing that around the 3 month mark and it helped me a lot. Fasting isn't for everyone, but my doctor was cool with it and saw the results and said as long as I take my Vitamins and keep my liquid intake up, I'm fine to do it when I feel like it.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
