Sorry you're going through this. Have you tried Protein Shakes? Also, are you permitted to start Multi Vitamins yet? The Iron in the Vitamins may help stop you up a bit and prevent diarrhea. I had gastric bypass, so I'm not familiar with sleeves, so I don't know if you have dumping or something else. Please contact your bariatric team, and feel better!

Why aren't you trying the Protein Shakes? You need some nutrition. The diarrhea will probably be short-lived phase. If worried, can you call your doctor's office and get advice? Good luck!

I had diarrhea for about 4 days when I got home. I started to get worried, but then thought that I have had no solids in a while, so it's no big deal. I am on the pureed stage right now and have very soft stool now.

Just remember to drink lots of fluids!

And don't forget, your system is going to take a bit of time to get to a new normal. What you were used to is most probably going to change some.

I'll put it down as normal for now then. I just don't want the anal leakage continue too long. Been alright since it must have been the small yogart didn't like my belly. Had a good sleep after though nurse rang and said it could be too much sugar in the yogart

Might not help they told me take lactuloose too

Wow they let you have full liquid and yogurt so soon. I have to do 1-2 weeks of clear liquid, 2 weeks of puree and 2 weeks of soft then get to go to regular food but will have to chew 25 x and wait 2 minutes between bites.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
