I am 6 weeks post op and I have not lost any weight in two weeks. I am down 35 pounds since sugery, but I am eating still bland soft foods, and drinking Water, and drinking my protien shake. Why the stall?

It's so frustrating! But, you will start losing again... your body is just adjusting! I've had so many stalls and it's driving me nuts... but I'm just trying to be chilled and go with the process. Hope things move soon for you! :)

Yeah, for me my weight seems to melt off in spurts. I'll stall for a week or so and then 20 lbs will fly off in the next two weeks. Then I'll stall again for a bit. Then it all flies off. Seems to be a cycle.

I'm 6 weeks post op, not even 20 lbs down since surgery, and had a higher start weight than you. You are doing AMAZING! You are losing a tonnnn of weight very quickly - as long as you're sticking to your diet, getting your liquids and Protein and exercise, your body WILL catch up! 🤗

I’m the same, 6 weeks out and hit a stall. It’s so frustrating! I’ve decided I’m only going to weight myself once a week. L x

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
