I am 10 weeks out of RNY surgery, I am down 44 pounds. I am taking in about 60 grams of protien a day, and 64oz of water. How many calories is every on at this point? I have been calculating mine and I am always between 500-600 calories. Is this too little? Too much?

I am 7 weeks post op, I have lost 40 pounds since I surgery, and I have no appetite at all. It is a chore to eat, and I have to force myself to eat. Nothing tastes good, and I'm just trying to desperately get my protein in. Anyone else have this issue?

I am 4 weeks post op and I weight weekly. I gained 2 pounds this week. How is this possible when I am only taking in 500 or less calories a day? This is frustrating to me as I am down 20 pounds since starting my liquid diet, I thought the weight would come off quicker.

I am three weeks post op and have lost 30 pounds in the last 4 weeks!! I am on pureed foods, refried beans, yogurt, cottage cheese, soups. I am NEVER hungry so it is hard to remember to eat, because I just don't have the urge to eat. I don't feel hungry. Anyone else feel like this?

We are allowed a 4th protein shake, only if we are so hungry we can't get through the day. So far I am 2 protein shakes in, 64oz of water, a cup of broth, and I am going to go home and have my 3rd protein shake and have some jello and a Popsicle.

I started today on the liquid diet and for 2 weeks (my surgery is 2 weeks from today), I can only have 3 protein shakes, jello, broth, sugar free Popsicle, every day for 14 days. Why do some surgeons let you have food? Mine is really strict with NO FOOD, only liquids. Hope I can do this!!!!!
