So Ive been kindve stubborn and gently bending over more often than i should and finally this morning it feels like my abdomen muscles have had enough. Im a little worried i pulled something and was wondering if anyone had advice to get through my daily tasks without a bunch of help im pretty much home alone. Also reaching up high is a problem for me because im extremely short..

A lot of people use the grabber.

My grandmother passed away shortly after my surgery; she was a bit of a hoarder, not as bad as the people on the show Hoarders, but still, anyways, the family got together and helped clean out her house, and I definitely over did it. I called the dr's office to let them know that I was in pain, and they advised that I take tylenol and place an ice pack over the area of my stomach that was hurting; that helped so much. Best of luck to you.

Whatever you need from up high, get a step stool and put it all down on your counters. And like GreenTea said... bend at the knees.

Are you feeling any better now HannahRB? And for goodness sakes, invest in a grabber tool, a stepstool or short ladder! Take care of You, that's the only body you get issued.🙆

Hello! Hope you are fine. I had a similar situation when I was cleaning my garden. It was necessary to constantly bend down or reach for the fruits on the tree. I love picking apples, but this activity has become exhausting for me. As mentioned earlier, grabbing something helps a lot to lift something from the floor. But when it comes to height, only a ladder or a stepladder can help there. My arms get tired too quickly when I use the picker. So I bought myself a reliable and comfortable ladder. Here is a good overview of ladders https://theladderguide.com/ You can choose the options and material you need for a durable ladder. Now picking apples and caring for my garden brings me pleasure.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
