I love scrambled eggs, I love cheese and I LOVE restriction!

Recommended Posts

I had my first scrambled egg today at two weeks out. One egg, with shredded cheddar. OMG, it tasted so, so, so good! It was like my sense of taste was heightened. I finished about 2/3 of it before my new tummy said, "No mas!" I really wanted to finish that egg, because the less egg and cheese I eat, the more Protein Shake I have to drink to meet my quota, but it was so exciting to see the surgery working (it's hard to tell with Protein Shakes because I hate them and would never take a sip too many).

I loved when this happened to me too! I still love eggs, and can eat 3/4 to one. It's awesome how after surgery and liquids you appreciate REAL food SO much. It's awesome.

Wooohooo! Wait til you try poach white fish. I use tilapia and seasonings (or Swai) and foil wrap it with a bit of spices and sometimes a little onion and spinach and mushrooms chopped super fine. So dang good...and easy to eat.

I loved fish before, I can't imagine how good it will taste now!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
