Ok so I'm 10 days post op, YAY! This weekend we have softball, ALL DAY. I'm not worried about the temptation of ball park food. But, how do I go about my full liquid diet while out? I'm sorry I unnecessarily overthink EVERYTHING!๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ

My son is playing football and the season is almost over with only 2 games left, the playoffs and superbowl. And that is exactly what I do. I carry my 32oz infuser full going in and I have a whole case of Water I keep in the car at all times to add to it or add it to the cooler when walking in. I take a pouch or 2 of tuna if I get hungry and I've taken a Protein Shake that I had frozen turned slushie along with my water.

One of the first things I started pre-op and brought with me into a post-op habit, I don't leave the house without plenty of Water to drink. I keep a 32oz cup full with Fluid in my vehicle for my drive to / from work and keep another 20 - 24oz cup at work that I fill throughout the day. During my liquid phase, I did travel with my pre-package shakes in soft cooler bags or kept Protein water with me to make sure I was meeting both water and protein goals.

I also have a thermos that I use when traveling and have been known to fill it with Bone Broth to have a nice warm liquid "soup" (less chunks) with me.

You've got this!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card ๐Ÿ
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours ๐Ÿ˜Žย and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, itโ€™s so bad Iโ€™m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. Iโ€™m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily,ย including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well. ย I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening. ย So far as of Jan 1st Iโ€™ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this?? ย Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.ย

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ
